Creation Improvements &/Wishes

There are so many great suggestions here. Even implementing 50% of them would vastly improve the system!
So it makes me sad to think that the only way it could happen is when (if) an SC6 comes out.

The supernatural conflictions, clipping and floating are really just depressing though XD

1. Voices of course. I'm more leaning towards this equation: SC3's Alignment feature+SC4's pitch adjustment+SC5's voice options and the their pitch adjustment, just for the sake of creating a character that isn't "normal" persay.
2. More clothing options of course. Most of SCV's clothing is from SCIV, which isn't bad, but there isn't much new ones, besides the more modern ones.
3. More hair options for Christ's sakes, especially on the female's side. Besides 1 new one, everything else is from default characters and from SCIV. Some options from SCIV characters were removed.
4. Not too fond of "more modern clothing" over traditional ones, but that's just me.
5. 1P and 2P costumes for 1 CAS character is actually a pretty good idea, based on what others have suggested. I've been creating 1P and 2p costumes for characters myself.

I'll think of more later.

6a. Hair option similar to Tekken 6's style. Includes base, bangs (Front, Sides), and back (any length of hair, style of ponytails and pigtails), or.....
6b, or 7. Have some hairstyles that can adjust the length of the hair. Like WWE's way of hairstyles.
8. Being able to create patterns in hairstyles, either all together or separately (if used like Tekken 6). I've always wanted to create highlights in hairstyles.
9. Face editing, either by part options, or sliders.
10. More jewelry
11. Asymmetrical options for arms, shoulders, and feet. Eyes as well.

C+Ped from a different thread:
Get rid of the conflicting clothes message. Jesus. I cant remember SCIV being that bad.
1P+2P SCIV Gear + SCIV DLC gear.
More faces.
Beards and moustaches that go on the face. (i:e 20 or plain faces with the ability to add facial hair.)
The ability to have 2-3 colours on hair.
Contact lenses. (Cat eyes/reptile eyes /pure white/Union Jack that sort of thing)
For shoulder pads/gloves etc the ability to have either left only/right only/both L+R would be nice.
More classic outfits.

Definitely just more clothes and stuff. SC's Create a Soul is ok. But they do need to work on more face and hair editing stuff now for SCVI.

I have a new idea: Textures. Allow us to choose different textures for our pieces (leather, scales, fur, metal, cloth, silk, cotton, etc) as a feature different from patters. This would allow us to make scales and leather with patterns and gradients. When coloring a piece, you would first select a texture, then a pattern, and then add stickers.

Here's a really minor issue. I'm assuming it's not in the sticky, but it bugs me more and more each day:

If a special equipment item is attached to the head, when you 'adjust equipment' or change its colour, the camera should automatically zoom into the head a little bit instead of giving you the panned out, full-body view. It just gets a bit annoying when you don't have a 52" TV so you have to reposition the camera every time before you can properly view that tiny little flower brooch you're trying to edit.

This one is in the sticky. I think really a lot of them are, maybe just with different wording.

I like these though, I'll add them:
allow us to choose the character's emotions. It's impossible to make a serious young lady or a sad character like Pyrrha, because all young faces look like they're posing for a picture.
Let us use every single move in our character's moveset for snapshots.

I'm not sure if it even matters though. I don't think PS is looking here for ideas. They're probably just going to do their own thing. :( My best hope is that some of it will make its way into SC6.

I like how you chose two of the few things in this thread I couldn't care less about :<

So I tried SCIV's CAS mode yesterday since I barely used it at the time and here are 3 small features I want back in the game:
  • Order slots in a meaningful manner (as in top to bottom). I always get lost searching for a specific slot when I'm coloring the parts.
  • Hoods should go in the headgear slot. Sure they'll conflict with some neckwear but they should be there (unless they totally cover the neck area).
  • Capes should not have the same stupid front part, not only is it always floating but it looks super bad and awkward. In SCIV each one had a distinctive front look and some even solely attached from the back.
Trying SCIV gave so much hope. SCV is the first time they split the tops into two parts and it was in a rushed game.
So hopefully the next CAS mode will have 3 upper body slots and 3 lower body slots with zero conflicts between them (at least not with normal non-crazy items). No matter what dress it is just tuck in the lower part if it's tight or keep it on top if it's not.
Oh and please no uncolorable parts on any colorable object, just increase the number of color slots.

Btw is an item/equipment wishes thread a terrible idea?

It would be great to texture the skin as well... make it shiny, scaly or whatever...

To go along with my previous post (Though I think that was int he CaS wishlist thread?):

I want Lizardmen as a CaS body option. x3 The default would be the generic SC2-look. Height options would be replaced by the SC3, 4, and 5 lizardman options (since he does seem to have gotten bigger over the years). o3o

I hope in the future, to add more to Kittenpaste's suggestion, I'd love to see...

-Lizard Base Body
-Golem (Astaroth styled) Base Body
-Elf Base Body (comes automatically with the elf ears attached so you don't have to waist a special equipment slot lol)
-Demon Base Body (Nightmarish base body similar to SCIV 2p of Nightmare)

And yeah, I highly would like to see a hair building option like what Tekken 6 did. The only thing I would suggest is toning down the color. Because the issue with me with the Tekken 6 customized hair was the coloring looked too... Well I can't think of the right word but it looked bad in my opinion. So yeah..

I doubt they'd do this, but I'd like it if you could fix the colour of an item. This is because you sometimes overlook a piece of equipment because its default colour makes it look out of place. Also, I usually know what hair colour I want, but have no idea what style would look best, so it'd be nice to be able to flick through all the styles with the same colour to make deciding much easier.

More voice options. And if you're gonna give us 8 voices that all sound the same AND are complete crap, just give us the option to make them mute.

EDIT: And fire Yuri Lowenthal.

-Separate customizations of beards and mustaches and noses
-100 save slots for custom characters
-Be able to adjust the sheen of clothing
-less arbitrary restrictions of custom combinations
-stop capes from floating over collarbones. Improved cape physics in general.
-being able to add hair extensions. working similar as, accessories
-adjust the bagginess of pants and sleeves
-being able to reverse flip accessories.
-all existing outfits available for custom use from SCIV and SCV ( I know its asking a lot)
