Dark Souls

Why is nobody lured by my Undead wiles? Does anyone else here Gravelord, and have trouble getting action?
Because goddamn, people must see my sign and run like they've witnessed the plague.

When I gravelord I get invaded by mostly Red Phantoms (a few spirits of vengeance) but IDK if you know but when you use the Eye of Death it acts as a dried finger, increasing the likelihood that you will be invaded by anyone (including dark wraiths).

Ah I didn't know that, I've still been using the dried finger and probably will keep doing it because what the fuck else am I going to do while I wait? Anyway, yeah I get invaded by reds out the ass. Every now and then I'll get lucky and see a blue, but it's rare. I lucked out earlier and got invaded at least 4 times by some (terribly laggy) SoV and killed him several times. I guess I'll just get to the next NG+ and gravelord the burg all day.

Haha, yeah. I love the Gravelord covenant. It's neat-o (Nito) but because it only works on NG+ (and all NG+'s after that) you have a fewer amount of people to infect and even fewer that will actually touch you gravelord sign. I hope to see a tweaked version of the gravelord covenant or something similar in Dark Souls II.
 
my undead parish got gravelorded but i died before finding all the red enemies lol. you could be a darkmoon seran but be prepared for "failed to invade" a ton

I have a tendency to kill folks who rub me the wrong way,and Gwyndolin is one of those folks. I think I've killed Patches in every playthrough, when I could have gotten some humanity and eyes from him.

I would have become a Darkwraith but fuck The 4 Kings solo. Not even going to try on NG+.
 

in all my playthroughs i have NEVER seen/heard have the stuff shiva said! part of me wonders if they're just deleted audio clips (like artorias' voice clips). i have one character with the chaos blade, hope i haven't killed shive and his ninja and/betrayed the catbros.

Yeah, there's surprisingly a lot of neat cut stuff from the game. If you mod your game you can get the black eye orb that Vaati used in the video to fight Shiva and I'm pretty sure you won't be penalized for it or anything.

Played it all (PTD edition, so Oolacile too) offline, just me and my Claymore
..ok, and my parry dagger(left for one-hand style with the Clay) and my Pharis Bow, but you get it
No shields, just because fuck shields, keep quicknes at max, dodge everything, mind the range and cut douchebags faces with powerful two handed sword slashes
Just ended it and dropped it after few hours of NG+ (i'm not NG+ kind of player)

Fun as fuck game, full of touch of class even if essential
Also you kind of get attached to your char more than in Demon

It lost some cruelty and atmosphere from Demon, but overall i've liked it more
Demon was more immersive and loyal to the "fuck weaks and noobs" holy philosophy
Dark kinda fake it a lil bit, but overall still challenging, specially compared to usual today VGs

I'm not one that play twice, but i admit, i will miss it :D

anywho, i like to think i know a ton about DS. lore-wise i'm pretty good, it's just some in game stuff and /or mechanics that i'm constantly finding new things (i can't say that about most games i play lol) and that's one of my favorite things about the souls games.

i really like seeing/hearing some of the uncut stuff, like artorias' voice or oscar's interactions. just hate that people have to mod the game to get to it =/
