Yeah, Babalook should be there, and me too, and probably top xbl players top DEV, but Phoenix was too expensive for me...
Anyway, at least Noface is doing great repping xbl community wich was btw under rated.

Yeah, all I can say is:

You all better hope you don't see Lolo and Babalook at any SC4 tournaments. While I may have been the one to rep Xbox Live this time, you may or may not be surprised to know that I'm not exactly the top competitor in our online community (lol 22K spam). Lolo and Babalook will wreck all of you, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. Nevermind what you might have saw a year ago. Oofmatic already backed me up at least on Lolo.

Thugish, DK, everyone else:

Nobody stays on top forever. Just sayin. ;)

i disagree. of all the successful online players on xbl, ur online style stands out as being the most conducive for offline play, which is basically what i said the very first time i played you. You and GRAAFT (the laggy French guy). I can't speak on lolo cause he's more aggressive and uses alot of lows online. Too bad this wasn't in Orlando, I wanted to play all you fucks.

Congratulation Thuggish, NoFace and DK.
I watch your vids right now. Very impressive !

I'm really sad that I was not be able to come to DEV to see all of you.
I really need to come back in your country. Last time is a good memory ^_^
I'll try to come to next major in USA.

To premature :)

You have to do it first. You should also remember some people are very adept at shutting things down immediately after or being surprised by an opponent. I'm not sure just how far Babalook would get offline after the initial surprise of heavy FC A+B Guard Break use. Ivy's 22k is a far cry from that. Once u realize it works its a phenomenal tool against ur opponent.

A perfect example was ur opponent Thuggish who lost to u in Winners but took the win back GF's. In France he lost to Keev and Maxou a couple times but figured out what he needed to the second time especially against Maxou "GF's" and boy did he figure out all the nonsense. In fact he does it all the time. In general that is how all the best competitors operate cause even though they might lose surprisingly "Daigo to" they come back and rape especially against the individual who got the uprising upset the first time.

Imo Babalooks use of FC A+B is what makes him stand out but again imo against the pool of best he'll figure out it won't work.

I don't want to jump in on this but I have to respectfully disagree with NoFace here.

First off, I'm pretty certain Lolo is mainly an offline player and please correct me if I'm wrong.

Second, Babalook has never had any high-level play experience offline; he does have the potential, but I rather see how he does against top level players.

If you wanna further discuss this, bring it to the online/offline debate thread

No they wouldn't. See how easy that was? You're sure they would "wreck" everybody there and I am "sure" they wouldn't.

I played Lolo at Nats last year, I highly doubt he got better than Hajime

I just hate when people play the "if this guy showed up, he would have won" card when there are literally less than 5 people in the country who have beaten Thuggish in tournament play. There was some REALLY good players there, and to say "My friend, dragonmaster5000, would have wrecked you all" when said person has little to no high level offline tourney experience, is kind of silly. Not saying they are bad players, I have no idea, but saying they would have "wrecked everybody" is nothing short of insanity.

Honestly, i think Hajaime had trouble with all TX players, not to take anything away from him, but it wasn't his day. A few of us can say that at least. But babalook and lolo? Now i'm inspired to play them.

Also, a quick note: Mamba says we(Texas) play SC all the time...hmmmmmm....normally i would respond to that. however, i am going to let him think that so he can stroke his dick a little harder to make himself feel better.

:D

There is no such thing as an "online/offline" player.

Stop saying "online he's good but will he do good offline".

They just play Calibur. Dont use ANYTHING about them online to compare to offline. Some players are better online. Some players are better offline. Some good/consisten at both. It DOES NOT CHANGE THE GAME THEY PLAY!! Online and Offline should be seen as equivalent, becuz, if you haven't noticed, its the same game, except it requires you have MASTERY over your Combos and that YOU READ YOUR OPPONENT QUICKER THAN OFFLINE.

These two things alone will prepare an individual for offline play, with online having little affect. Please stop mentioning the two as different etities. Soul Calibur is Soul Calibur.

PS - I no longer HEART Tiamat.

I HEART MIKO AND I HEART MALICE!!

Mamba - You big big man you. Good to see you again, as always. Thanx for entering Calibur tho. We technically had 34 entrants i think it was since Dr. Dogg and someone couldnt enter. But in any case, u supported the community that day so hugs ^_^ <3

Damien - Why didnt u let me win? I thought u didnt wanna be interviewed? lol. But good shit tho. I cant fight ur Amy. We'll keep meeting at finals and repeat the cycle of u kicking my ass. Drinks need to start being on you nigga, cmon =P

DK: We met at Nationals. And yes, come to TX and you'll have a good time. I'll get Agustin drunk so you can take advantage of him

Lol you US and A guys discuss the same stuff since years...now several players have shown that the online-->offline transition is possible, SU, Noface, Whoazz, Graaft, Samsam...all great players. stop discussing online play for gods sake.

And somehow i start to admire how the online community plays this laggy hell called Soul Calibur with such an obstinacy, its mindblowing.

props to the placers!

Get that offline/online garbage out of here. You're either good at Calibur or you suck at Calibur. Bottom line. Plus playing in tournament is a whole nother story.

DK, where my love at? At least DINO hearts me. :-P

I’m sure that if Ronald McDonald and Barney the dinosaur came through, they could have scooped up in Calibur, but they didn’t. But there’s other tournaments down the pike to attend. The upcoming tournaments have been posted and there is plenty of time to plan, so come on down.

malek:come to NEC in December if you can. If not, hopefully I will see you at Dev next year as long as they have us back.

babalook: if DivineChaos could make it to Dev, you can too. Make some friends offline and hitch a ride. Hope to see you soon.

I left u out on purpose.
Get the hint yet? =P

I also jus thought of quitting Calibur to pursue an MK career =D (lawl)

now now now. Didn't your mother ever tell you to be nice? He's trying to keep the hype alive for SC. Besides, if you're playing SF, then so am i :D

Lol you US and A guys discuss the same stuff since years...now several players have shown that the online-->offline transition is possible, SU, Noface, Whoazz, Graaft, Samsam...all great players.
Graaft got good from playing online? I don't know about that one, he plays kinda like an offline vet online, but...so does noface. confirm?

December is good for me. I'll try to come. THX.

DK: ah ah ah. I'll give you some more advice next time. First one: Don't unthrow B when Ivy is back to RO ah ah ah

About Graaft:
He was in Final of a competition in West of France. He beats me and Kayane on his journey to the final.
But loose in the end to... me. He was already in the final of this competition last year, but lost to Tsubasa (belgium champ).
He is pretty famous in France, even if he don't enter in a lot of tourney.

LOL

Why are people considering lolo an online player, his so offline guys...already known as one of the best yoshi's this side of the world.
