Throught 2 years, we haven't seen a Hilde Dominiate this scene. yet, she has been banned. Algol is a boss and shouldn't be allowed. Amy has dominated and she has YET to be banned. No one banned X in SC2, no one banned X, Sisters, Asta, Lynette in SC3 and they were the dominate characters. Binding was banned in 2 & 3 but yet it was allowed in 4(except in Canada because they're special...love you vints!)
You all need to make up your fuckin mind and stick with it. THAT, AND THAT REASON ALONE is what killed Calibur. So yea...i say "Man-up" Put your balls back in your pants and play the fuckin game.
Ban the binds - This game was made for 4 buttons, so it should be played that way
Unban Hilde - She hasn't dominated anywhere (again, sorry hilde players.) don't misunderstand me or try to quote me. I know i may seem biased, but all i have said this whole time was that she hella unfair because of the "whiff and die" situation
Ban SW - only because i hate the franchise
Ban RTD - only because i love him
Ban SwordLord - because this guy is paid to be a comedian, not play soul calibur

You know, CW, I only hear people whining about 'the state of the game' when you bitching about what is geniunely the norm for accepted SC tournaments. Binds have been allowed for a while now, Hilde has been banned in most places for a while now (except the ones where people hold the misconception that they know what's good for the community), SW characters have pretty much been banned regionally up until around Cannes.
I honestly think such stuff wouldn't be up to debate at this point in the games lifecycle (and it really isn't, except for those few who just can't seem to understand this is what is accepted). I mean, regardless of what your thoughts are on Amy (Upper-mid still, Philly! =P), the fact that most TOP players (and I mean real top players) and even a couple of random scrubs think that picking that pocket Hilde would dramatically increase their chances of winning should tell you something.
Still, like I said a while ago, there are millions of topics on this site that have turned into one of these famous SC4 debates - let's not clutter this one. So, I believe it was you who asked me to do the same not too long ago, please take your own advice and just stop.

ya, depending on tendencies. If someone tends to ONLY do 3B if it's block and don't follow it up (which you probably don't do), they'll get punished, but Kilik gets 1K either way.
CW, really? Last time you checked you beat me with Amy? NO, you lost... you won the first match Amy vs. Amy I think, I remember getting screwed that match, but whatever. I destroyed you with Sophie, get ur facts straight.
Amy is the most unsafe character in the game at high level play. I don't know enough about Rock to say who's more unsafe between those two, but they are top 2, period.

Amy can't beat you with one combo, she needs to hit you a lot, and is a character that almost any char can deal with a strategy, sure you can mess up from time to time and eat some dmg, but you will still have a chance, just look at Belial matches against any Amy player, he doesn't play perfect everytime, he does some bad guessing that leads Amy to do good dmg, even tough is pure rape.
That doesn't happen against Hilde, there's a high rate 1 mistake-you lose, I've seen several strategies, cry baby, GI_AGI on reaction, get your back in a wall, etc. A good strategy along with a some luck is what you need to beat her, but hey, this isn't supposed to be about luck, is about skills and strategy, that's why I think no Hilde player have won a big major, after a few matches, luck might not always be with Hilde.

First full on oppression not allowing discussion of Hilde and closing threads, then forcing bans and closing threads, self interest tournament bans Amy ban by ChaCha Evo side tournament, and now under the radar foot in the door phenomenon related allowance of Hilde no binds with less closing of threads.
The ever changing rules are so entertaining and under the radar changes that was argued so many times but was oppressed now being considered.

Why did this thread turn into a ban discussion. Don't we got other things to talk about, whether it be strats on how to beat matchups and not just whine about character balance. Discussions like this actually kill the game. People worry more about the characters not being balanced and less about how to solve matchup problem. At the same time people are not mature enough to recognize if a strat is strong or over powered, but a weak one everyone says makes a character trash. If you believe a character is weak then constantly beat it, if not then trying to call someone trash and they have no results then they are just someone that talks alot but has no proof. There should be at least 1 rule implimented in this thread and I think I may have to get a decree running.
