DLC Characters: Who would you pay for?

Who would you buy?

well does anyone know if they are going to make DLC?
I don't see why they wouldn't. We're pretty much giving ammunition for a DLC. Hell, it's money. I'd pay for Zas and/or Talim and/or Amy. Nothing is confirmed to my knowledge, but it's unlikely that a DLC wouldn't be announced.

False DLC characters that are available to everyone are infact tourney legal.

Oh. I never play tournaments so I didn't know that. Then I take back what I said about it being useless. How do we know that we will get more than one DLC character? We're already getting Dampierre.

Well you do make some good points, but we are getting a bit off the point I wanted to get to: Talim is definitely not a bad character, but she's not nearly as good as the returning characters. Only the best of the best got to return: Yun -for example- had an incredible style too, but he wasn't as iconic and a crappy design. And you also have to remember that the few good things about Talim's design would be lost with and aged version of her.

I don't think many of us would much take an issue with change or switch-arounds.
As long as there's the aspect of familiarity, i'm sure we as fans will be pleased.

An easy way to avoid that is to make her ageless as well.

What with her magical abilities and the fact she was the first character to wield both soul edge and soul calibur, they could easily make her stay young for ever. Hell she's already brought back the dead...

AND the Casuals <3 her!

She has the most "likes" out of all of the petitions on face book. xD

and has been rockin the votes in nearly every poll. People like her. There isn't much else to say.

That's very smart...

Still, I don't see why you guys are do desperate about her. I main Cassandra, and was like super hyped thinking of how she'd be in SCV, just to realize she's not in. Am I complaining? Am I crying like a baby because her possible slot was taken by a mimic? Am I making random facebook petitions Namco will never give a crap about? NO, because I know the game is gonna be amazing anyways, and I believe in Project Soul and their ability to make an even better character. Change is good guys, this is a whole new game, go find a new main and stop being sad about a fictional fictitious character that fictionally appears on a fictive fiction game, it's not real. She's not dead, because she was never alive.

Your sig made me giggle for a few seconds, but then I got sad :(
I sorry D:
It could be temporary though. Think of it that way. DLC isn't out of the question, and i'd percieve it as unwise not to take money for a few extra characters.
I'd change it to :
"Back. Like... well... the Wind. In a tornado or something. :P :sc2tal3: "

Why is Bangoo on this list, you may as well have Chie and Toki while you're at it....

I would buy Cassandra (that is if Pyrrha Omega does not really play much like her), Talim, Zasalamel and Amy.

I don't think anybody's sincerely upset enough to boycott the game. But learning a character does represent an investment of time, and I guess it's natural to get attached.

The more I look at the poll, and those petitions, the more I begin to wonder if Talim and Zasalamel were withheld specifically for later DLC. They're both pretty popular.

I'll hold you to that. That's a badass sig.

Not sad. But ... inquisitive, about why the decision is made. Does it suck? Yes. Does SoulCalibur suck because of it? No.
Would it be awesome to see her back in SCV? Hayell yeeas.
I just fail to see why, and I miss my main. I wont lie, but it's never too late to learn someone else. Started using nightmare alot more... learning justs and stuns. But that's my contingincy plan. If all else fails, i'm not going to rage or cut my wrists over it, y'know? It just sucks. I'm sure you could agree.
