Dragon's Dogma

This game is too easy... at level 85 its just... silly. We need some hard DLC. Ur Dragon is a joke.... like.. a big joke.. Dire Gouge+Autonomy+DF Ascalon+Mushrooooms= not hard. Sure i could take the high road and not use that but.... ... ... everyone has been enjoying those Ur D. rewards.. no?

i'm on level 47 and i find this game easy. at first i thought that enemies were leveling up with you when ever you hit a certain point but i'm finding that isn't the case. wait...why don't they do that? that's a reason why i drop RPGs after a beat them. the New Game+ is waaaaaay too easy. there's no challenge besides a secret boss or two or maybe a secret area but outside that, nothing.

i find it funny that everyone is hating on the drive/fly-by griffin. i was on an escort mission when i first saw the thing so i couldn't face it for fear my witch-granddaughter/pawn with a heart was going to get killed. it chased me for a good 5 minutes and then finally flew off. i just though it gave up. didn't know it was planned until my friend with the game for xbox360 right behind me went through the same thing with out escorting anyone. he was salty after it flew off.

also was surprised at the fact that you can get an instant hookup with the queen(she looks like a damn princess. looks young) through those 2 missions. even with my female main character i was okay with it. that queen looks cute.

The game can be hard, if at the beginning you ignored the save function and don't recruit any other pawn. Just you and your main pawn.

They dont do that cause in reality people hate that in a majority. Reason people hate that is because there are people who grind to be overpowered and wants to destroy their foe's for their hard work and not struggle. Look at FF8 and when that came out a lot of people had a Love/Hate relationship with the game. PERSONALLY I deem FF8 the worst FF in the series due to the: Cast (besides zell), system, and story. But that is just my opinion honestly.

It does get silly when you start to one shot everything in new game plus tho. I literally fell asleep playing new game+ xD

I think they should have replaced the normal enemies with their "Higher" versions like a Gorechimera instead of a normal Chimera.

exactly! i thought the same thing, the everfall was a bitch to be in just because of the tougher versions of enemies. when i first started, night was scary. wasn't prepared for it, so i died many times at night. now, though, i no longer fear the night because the enemies just aren't tough enough.

for me, i just pick up a new vocation one each playthrough. right now, im doing mystic knight. i used to be a magick archer (favorite vocation so far) in my previous playthrough.

My like the vocations in this order; Ranger, Assassin, Warrior, Fighter, Strider, Mystic Knight, Sorcerer, Mage, Magic Archer. I really hate MA, plus I don't like caster classes in any game ever. I never liked being the classes that used magic.

at first, i only did MA because of the archery (loved ranger, was my 1st serious vocation). however, i grew to love the exclusive magick bow. i rarely, if ever, used my staff (i think i stopped even carrying it at vocation rank 2). i do think the afterburner/immolation ability is a bit OP (light yourself on fire and hurt enemies with it) as i could just light me up and jump on a chimera/griffin/hydra and do massive damage, even to the dragon!

im only really using mystic knight because i figure since pawns cant use the hybrid classes, i might as well give them a shot and assassin seemed rather straight-forward. i still never carry my staff (i'd much rather have my pawns do the spellcasting instead) but i love the magick shield. i'm still getting used to blocking but i can kill weaker enemies with any of the counter skill (enchants your shield and if you block, it does damage with the enchantment). plus i can now use any of the boons/affinities without relying on mages/sorcerers (though it's not technically a boon/affinity it produces the same effect).

you liked the ending? I thought it was pretty weird. I wont spoil it but it was touching yet at the same time... weird. xD

Not really weird, it was Good!!..for me it did makes sense.
Ive buyed the game with no expectations(like with almost every game i get)
Thats why i Love it..im on my 4th run and i still have much fun and many things to explore..ill enjoy it!

^Don't you mean Madeline? That voice, her "gold digger" nature, and DEM TITS. Lol

How about some DLC that adds a "Hell hound Alpha" a Hell hound that does 5 times as much damage, shoots fireballs 3 times the size, 4 times bigger than standard hell hound, 6 bars of health, fire damage heals it, spawns with 10 standard hell hounds, and can howl to summon 5 more hell hounds per howl. >:D

God damn Madeline! I thought that promissory note was for her ass to pay me back the money I she owned me. Nope. Oh god dat 50G she took from me....that was painful. "Can you, can you like....." Oh hell this bitch better not be asking me for more money....hell no...I didn't it just to save her sorry ass. I don't want her love.

I really really felt cheated, I know it's a game but damn them dollars hurt.

Next game...."Oh no....., it's Madeline! Run Arisen!"

Lol I like Madeline, I think she's funny. All of her sarcastic remarks make her hilarious. If the game had better models then she would also be lulzy eye candy. As she says herself "Being with me is its own reward." Lol!

EDIT: If I fight the Ur-Dragon all decked out in armor and actually have a good defense rating for a Ranger he goes crazy but if I walk out in a T-Shirt and some booty shorts it's all good! Lol

it's because he doesn't ruin that hot piece of ass when you walk in like that. if you got it, flaunt it.

This game has one of the best endings I have played in a video game. Considering my pawn is supposed to be this badass African dude, and my Arisen is a white dude...shit was boss. Funny I thought Aelinore was my ending I had her and Selene in my house...then Selene shows up, quite fitting.

^Lol I heard you can have Simone (h/e you spell it) in your ending. I want to see this and laugh at whoever it happens to. Same with people and that inn keeper. Lol
