I stand corrected but that comment I made was because of this legacy that Linkrkc has created and nothing else so if anything such a comment was premature based on that alone.

I have played Malek a shitload of matches now more than anyone else. He has had the time to dissect me and help my game overall.

I just created a new sig that reflects something he brought to my attention that is linked to results of matches under different conditions that I never noticed.

Malek is imo the best competitor I have played over the course of my time in SCIV so far so I value his opinion.

No he is still judging based on videos hence him picking Kura to get second.
 
Ah Kura has bad luck with pool C. I hope that he manages to survive Hildes.

This is also related to my predictions on Evo: America lacks very good Ivys so it's possible that Ivy player will be in top 5 or even win the entire tournament, because people just won't be prepared enough for this character. Seems like Ivy is much more popular in Europe, because in France alone there are at least a few Ivy's that are on level similar to Malek's. On the other hand, you guys have Linkrkc and Woahhzz, and then there's a big gap between them and others. I expected Malek to do fine in US, but when I heard that he beats everyone I was shocked (and it made me even more angry that Im not there with him :P)

You would be correct! However I don't do so as blind as most probably think.

Also alot of people are hypocrites when it comes to things like this. Everyone judges things based off what they see and hear. That's human life and is a fact.

Just like some would be ignorant to assume specific people would win just because that's who they play all the time.

No one has played everyone therefore some decisions are made theoretically based on vids, results, possible other reasons. Nothing is ever 100% correct but good enough to land directly on the correct results.

So to make it seem if that judging somethings based off vids is foolish or dumb like I think ur implying is ignorant in itself to some level.

Once again everyone has there own way of measuring a winner and one being immediately better than the other isn't always correct.

Yeah it was interesting to watch. Malek single handedly made me believe Ivy is top 5 in this game. She has so much good stuff and her SG game is both good and extremely practical which moves her up a couple notches on the SG list. Her backstep and Sidestep is absolutely insane and I would say if not equal with Hilde right behind her. This info is just not commercialy available or obvious like Hilde but its definitely there. I could go and on on how flabbergasted I was by half the shit Malek was showing me over the course of our matches. Besides that I could see Ivy taking it as well as Malek's Ivy is extremely good against Hilde.
 
Kura in C.... Officially the worst made pool in history. RTD, Ceirnian, Oofmatic, and Kura are all players who should be in top 8 but they all end up in the same pool.

But just reading off the evo site, it does say pools AND semi finals for SCIV so it's possible that at least 4 people make it out of a pool so that makes things a little more fair. I still think the pool wasn't done right but if there is definitely a semifinal than it makes the problem not as much of an issue.

lol my bad. i was looking for last weeks tourny matches and stumbled on these and i was like oh snap! i didnt know Lau was out there too.
 
Its cool I just figured the vids would be more appreciated after Evo and Nats since it was a three country mashup between China, France, and U.S. Since its out u might as well look at them lol. I'll still create a thread in the future.
 
S-U - maybe you need to give cash away to nats players when you lose to them in tournaments. That might put you in the right frame of mind :p

You know something I never thought about that and I am crazy enough to do it.

Fuck it i'm gonna do that at Nats. I'm gonna put $20.00 up for every single one of my tournament matches for free. So whoever I run into u have the possiblity to win $20.00 against me.

Yeah i'll try to get more vids. If I had a camera that recorded I would put vids up all the time since I think there the most interesting about websites like this.

Anyway I'm derailing the shit out of this thread. Thanks for the idea!
 
Malek Ivy is awesome. Every match the opponents soul guage is flashing red and the guy plays mostly WHIP STANCE...WTF.

Only saw one link, but he's good and that "ninja" stick is spiffy (His joystick uses lasers not clicks! No iCS telegraph!)

I'm completely changing my Ivy style after watching them. I've been using her completely wrong (but my iCS was hot today...VERY unlike yesterday *cry*)
