This makes me feel both happy and sad.

I'm happy because it looks awesome and I really want to get it.

But I'm also sad because it means we are moving on from the awesome classics and the game is changing into 3D style. This is great but I get nostalgic. My first Pokemon game was Pokemon Ruby and Leaf Green and I adored them so much. I wish they would remake those awesome games.

That aside.....too soon. I just got Black 2 as well....*sigh* Generation VI is upon us.....
Well I've seen my friends play r/b/y back then but didn't get a gameboy till gold and silver.

But I heard that they might just add like 20-50 pokemon this time.

I have the same problem yoshi
But if want a advice here it is,
One get rid of ice beam its not a stab attack your better off with muddy water

You'll need a fire type and (if you want) an electric type to go with the counter types
I'll go with a tanky pokemon to use for reviving the rest of the team in a elite four battle. normally a steel or rock type will do. And every thing else is on you. Its really on what pokemon you want to train

I wasn't necessarily talking about regular casual stuff. More on the competitive side. On the casual side, I have a Vaporeon, Samurott, Whimiscott(Thinking about dropping him despite how awesome he is with Prankster) and Magnezone. Not a great team, but I can struggle and get by story mode in Black 2.

Ice Beam is meant to shoot down Dragons, Grass, and Flying types btw. It's the usual B'n'B for water types to carry an ice attack. Coverage is more important than a second water attack. Since Dragons and Grass types resist Vaporeon's water attacks, she needs an ice attack to dispatch them before she gets hurt real bad. She may be a tank, but she can't take hits forever.

However, I think I should get a Fire or Ground type pokemon to lure in a water attack since you've reminded me. Safe switch in for Vaporeon because she loves free water attacks to heal her. Not only that, team synergy. Ground is immune to Electric yet weak to water. Vaporeon is immune to water attacks yet weak to Electric. Now the question is who makes a good partner? Gliscor sounds interesting because I just thought of him and that's usually where I get stuck.
