For those who are bored with sc5

If you're bored with it move on from SC5, anything can get boring after a year. You said you loved the game at one point, dont too much anymore and thats cool, its natural, but it just seems to me that there was no purpose here.

The point of the thread is seeing if others are also getting bored of it and for what reasons. I want to see why others dislike it. It intrigues me. It's food for thought. And besides, when a sequel comes out that many fans dislike, it tends to make us a bit sore and we need an outlet to talk about it.

Truth is, I should be over this by now, and move on. I think for me, I was so much in love in the SC series in general that once sc5 died for me that it really pained me emotionally to see the something I love to go (what I consider) shit. Maybe I have a hard time letting shit go, especially after 10 years of investment. Yes it's a fault, but I still can't help the fact that I'm bitter about it.

And yes, there are other forums where people express their dislike for this game, but like I said, most of those forum's posts are over 6 months old.

It's mostly because of CE's (236236 for everyone required), and JG, which is easy, but requires lot's of memorization of frames. More numbers to memorize and harder inputs IMO make the game less accessible. It's also less accessible because there is just more to think about now in general.

The thing about sc2, is that most of the attacks in the game appear to be safe on block, which means you aren't required to memorize as many numbers as before. I never cared about frames until sc3.

first of all, I said JG was easy, and that's not why I don't like it. And second, this isn't trolling.

Game controllers weren't designed for fighting games and 236236 doesn't register very well. Not to mention the damn thing wears out in a few months from all the abuse.

Than don't use a Game controller? I'll have to agree with Sett. If you think SCV is complicated try Tekken. Or SCIV Ivy.

Why haven't you replied to any of my points that illustrate sc2 having many of the same "problems" that Scv has?

Also on the matter of remembering jg frames, you don't really have to memorize the number, its pretty easy to eyeball a move and determine if it has a large recovery or a short one. Have a quick punish in mind and a meaty punish in mind.

Furthermore, don't you play sieg and Asta? Where if you jg something the question should be, can I 3b/ bull rush this?

This could be right than you realize. I have the same feeling that if something is to hard for him, he just gives up and claims "it must be shit if I cant do it".

But dont come onto a SC site, start planting your metophorical flag in the ground and start saying blatant statments such as "SCV is digging its own grave because...". I mean come on now. Did you really think you were going to get a warm reception by saying things like that.

Go start an-ANTI-SC site. Then you can bitch as much as you want. But for right now, this is still a PRO-SC site. Youre just gonna have to live with that fact and stop trying to troll around. Cause frankly, you also suck at trolling.

No disrespect man but how many times do people see some type of post that has to do with why SCV was such a bad game? How many threads?

It's like every time I try to come on this site people always got some negative thing to say about this game. Every. Single. Time. This is what makes me not want to come here.

I get that there are people who don't like this game, people didnt like IV, or III. I get it. But damn will y'all just move on?
 
I won't lie, I don't get what people see to think that Soul Calibur V is so much better than the past games, for me is not boring, but is simply not my fave, but what to do still is fun to play.To be sincere Soul Calibur was never a easy game, you always had to have a good notion of moves and strategies, when you go from Tekken to Soul Calibur is like "WTH, why can't I combo. NOOOOO!" Playing this game needs work and patience.
 
Personally, I don't find this thread proactive. It's another circle jerk reskin thread of "why I dislike/quit SCV" plus SCV lovers vs SCV haters argument thing plus "I'm still here in this community because my voice is important" thing.

But hey, at least I get likes from the lovers. Just means Damn-I'm-Good at not sucking and sticking with SCV. Drop by the CAS forums and/or Fanfics forums sometime, DIS. I promise you can find more joy playing dress-up and/or storytelling more.

Unless you prefer to be melodramatic. It's not a good idea to look at things all negative.
