Ice - I enjoyed that siggy of yours. The mix-up dances are very nice, I dunno if they work so well on Taki's speed though. I would love some Seig pointers next time I see you, all I have right now is 66B, 3B, and WR AA on CH with him lol.

ill say this last thing not to go into yall's flame war and leave it at that, if yall take this post into another cluster fuck of confusion then yall do it 2 yourselves cause im done trying 2 explain, its just beating a dead horse.

i blocked nori's attack putting him at - frames, yet nori would still attack at disadvantage (usually with 44b; 66b if im explaing notation from my position, which i was explaining n my thread). Once again ill say it, i never did my bombs when i got nh or ch UNLESS I spaced first, nori lied saying i did. he thought thats what i was doing but it wasnt.
if u guys know anything about taki, the first bomb on double bomb gives her more range and enough lag 2 cancel any retreating spaced attack, connecting on hit inbetween the frames that the attack needs 2 perform b4 the initial hit (kilik's 4b+k, cervy's 44b, x's 44b). if i anticipate right, which was about 85% of the time, then thats a guaranteed 70+ dmg.
nori ate about 85% of my bombs, and instead of asking why or trying 2 figure it out he jumped 2 the conclusion it was 'online' set ups.......even when im lookin at him face-2-face. instead of waisting my time explaining how dumb a comment that was, ill just say that he ate my bombs and to bitch about online set ups offline makes u look worse than lag abusers online. you become the worse of the worse 2 still bitch about online set ups......offline, its that simple. but im also dumb 4 letting it get into my head in those few casuals he won, i wont let it happen again.

He didn't explain it like that the first time. The main thing I even commented on was something that Nori posted in Shogun's offline/online transition thread, I'll quote it again:
'The fact you would get smacked with AA and then do a bomb is nothing short of insanity.'
I was referring to that comment. If you get hit with AA, you're at disadvantage so doing a 30 frame bomb attack at a time like that just sounds.....fucking stupid. At first, Shogun said that he was 'anticipating something' and using the tech crouch of the bomb to evade the next attack, which would still be dumb at disadvantage to try since bombs don't tech crouch until the 18th frame of the move. It wasn't until that last post that he clearly explained that he wasn't using bombs on disadvantage. So either Nori was lying about the 'get smacked by AA and do bombs' comment or he meant something else. Anyway, seems like it was just a big misunderstanding. So thanks Shogun for clearly explaining this time.
Oh and Shogun for future reference, if you're referring to a move your opponent was doing, use the notation from your opponent's character, not your side. You kept saying Nori would do something like BB on block and then still attack after that with 66B. That was confusing the hell out of me because that's just not smart at all and doesn't sound like something Nori would do, only to find out that you meant that Nori was doing 44B after BB on block which makes way more sense. He was probably anticipating you doing a short range quick attack that Cervy's 44B could evade and hit you with. Saying the notation from your point of view and calling his move 66B gave me a totally different picture of what was going on.

Shogun: Had I known losing to you in casuals would have inflated your ego this big, trust me, I would have actually attempted to play my best. I only did that once in a set and it was pretty quick. How you don't notice a difference is beyond my understanding. And yes, you got smacked with AA at least twice and did something retarded afterwards, once was a bomb, and I honestly forget the other move. Either way, you are the one that needs to prove himself to people, not me. You lost to a guy who quit this game over a year ago, you play A LOT more than him (he doesn't even own the game anymore) and still lost. That's pretty bad

and i never tried 2 bomb after an aa on nh or ch, if u saw any animation it was an attempt at an A+bA (i8) or an ab sequence attempt, but even then i dont make that mistake often so i kno that isnt it. i told u any bomb attempt was space first.

Considering I told you hover mixups are stupid and you actually tried to argue w/me that you are setting something up (what?), I realized you really don't want help from pros you would rather just argue, so be it. You need A LOT of work on your offline game and the fact you think bombs are good, is suggesting to me that bullshit you do online, you actually think will work offline. You keep saying "i was sitting right here, how can he say it was online mixups". Cause only somebody from the online world, who is convinced hover mixups are a good idea, would be dumb enough to try that garbage offline. Ok now I see where alot of the bs peeps are saying to me is coming from! All this bs is coming from you Nori, and maybe someone else I don't know, but I notice where the majority is coming from!
First of all, I don't hover for "mix-ups". Yes I do use hover for a set-up, not a mix-up. You don't know shit about taki so stop acting like you do. But I'll break it down for you since you don't.
Taki's hover ONLY becomes sort of a mix-up (it's hard to react too) on whiff from alot of attacks. It can become even become NH depending on the attack and the reaction speed of players (Ivy WR B in sword stance is an example I believe, the one she has that does RO if her back is facing towards the wall).
So yes Nori I do use it for a set up, a whiff set up. I don't like to explain myself in tournaments because people try to catch on and adapt, this is why I didn't argue fully and bust out the very reason why you kept getting hit by hovers, cause you did.......alot. Once again, you started bitching about online set-ups without even figuring out "why the hell am I getting hit by this?". It wasn't until you started turtling that I switched accordingly and stopped using hover as much. I swear I should just start copy/pasting my posts cause this is a constant cycle.
It's not that I don't want help from pro's, I just don't need help from people who still bitch about online in an offline gathering. I got a chance to talk to King and Link afterwards and I couldn't agree with Link and King anymore. You can set-up certain attacks to mindgames depending on opponents. For someone who has been playing this game for years and still haven't realized that this game is 90% yomi based then I see why you never get top three. It only took me 1 big tourney to realize this, and you still haven't realized it yet, that's sad. The other 10% is character knowledge and game mechanics, which I thought I knew fairly well, but after my lost to lizardman and algol I realized I didn't know characters as well as I thought I did. I ate similar set ups from both characters and didn't know how to punish them as well as I thought I could (Now that I know this, I really need to watch out for Seong-Mina, Yeong-Seong, and a few others I rarely get to play).
But instead of having to read all that and just say this above all else, ABOVE ALL ELSE.......

I have never made top 3 in a tournament?Ignorance is bliss. I have made top 3 in more tournaments than you have even entered, but ok shogun. You are right shogun. I WON a tournament with 30 people in it that were actually good. You won a tournament where nobody good showed up. Good job?
Also, why lie? I don't understand that. You told me, sitting next to me, you think hovering is a mixup. It's not, clearly, so now you are going back on your word and acting like you are some poor victim. If you didn't mean that, that's not my issue, choose your words more carefully
You clearly don't get what anybody is telling you, so no problem. TX is having a tournament November, since you know so much about the game, you are more than welcome to MM me then and show me since you claim I know nothing about Taki (even though I reacted to your garbage how many times? I reacted every, single time) You clearly don't get that people dont' take casuals seriously, which seems to offend you, so I won't bother. In a tournament, or MM, I will peace you out quickly simply because you use mixups that aren't good and are a predictable player. Your defense is horrendous. Don't get mad at me, it's your own fault. FYI, I don't know what "BS" you are talking about. There are quite a few people who think you are random and don't know what you are doing, and until quakecon, I wasn't one of them. I remember beasting you online a while ago and thinking you had potential. I didn't have a problem w/you until your randomness at Quakecon.
