2A is for close range. bA has a lot of range. it's unsafe but other than that it is great in almost every aspect. When used at tip range the reward outweighs risk against many characters, so I don't see a problem with using it. Of course it shouldn't be used as a staple step killer but it's not a bad move.

Pffffftttt... Cass' 3A is a great step killer (3AK being hit confirmable on CH is a nice bonus) and even though it can be stepped, 66A is pretty good too.

That's because its safe online - I play a little Sophitia and I would bet you £50.00 in cash I could TAS B TASB:4 punish you at least 7 out of ten times for using it at tip offline against me.
I'd actually take that bet if the phrasing is "tip" and not "almost tip." At tip a fast TAS B doesn't float enough to reach. It might still be possible with some good timing on the float, but I wasn't able to get it. Conveniently if you go into training and have Sets do bA at the starting position this is tip range if you don't move. If you take a micro step forward, you're in TAS B x 2 range.

There's a lot of knock back on bA. I've been able to press myself against Setsuka's face, then wait until the character models push each other out then get a TAS B x 2 off the bA. Not too often though.

setsu bA is really unsafe at close range, i use Xiang, at close range i punish it everytime , but at max range X cannot punish it, whatever i do i m too far from setsu, 66B+K whiff, 4K3B (4K whiff because bA's recovery is TC), 66A same whif it s a high, 3B+K too far, even if i do 65FC3B that move hits the guard... sometimes i can 66k but seriously, punish a -20 with 66k is a shame.

for those characters who have a mid with a long range its not the same thing.... as you alredy said, TASBTASB:4 kill the bA

It's always a pleasure to get cut down by xeph like a hot knife through butter. GGs to him, ProvesaDark, bubbles, and everyone else I fought in their rooms!
the good part about that is that you can learn from your mistakes (in a way that doesnt concern online of course and acknowledges offline play) and accept consrtuctive criticism or "tips." i have done that for like a year.....you can ask most people here especially xeph that when i used to play online i would lose like 32 rounds and win llike 7 rounds and i would hardly complain (i started compliaining and eventually made excuses lol) mainly because its online and the lag made me paranoid, my only practice against people was with online play so i would attack on disadv, my internet was sensitive or just bizarre ( i would have 5 bar connections with some people in the east coast and i lagged with 5 bar connection in the west coast which is were i lived and in general my 5 bar connections were like 3 bar connections, and i would get nervous when i would play highly skilled players like Xeph or KCD or NDK.

Eventually i just gave up online and worked on low tier character analysis. i was bored.........

yep, thats online.....but yeah im sure you will never get that kind of record and still be cheerful about it.

Did i make you feel better? sorry for the rambling......

Oh, I think you misunderstood, I'm perfectly fine with losing! I already knew xeph was invincible, and I'm learning new things about Tira (my new main as of SC5; sorry Cass) every time I play! (sooo HYPE for SC5 Tira btw, check out Alex3DSev on YouTube for some really cool gameplay with her!)
well at least its there for people to read that way when they lose alot they can think: "at least i wasnt as bad as optymuss online" or something like that......lol

I sesne the "poor me" factor creeping up. that is not the case if your wondering.

If only certain people were like you two. Humble and inquisitive despite losing yet fighting valiantly. I can honor that as do veterans. However, never lose to Pocky Yoshi. Losing to him is like losing to Dan Hibiki lol. That is if we cross blades sometime.

But to stay on topic, Bgs to the damn live. Crappy connections with strict NAT ruin me.....

GGs to Gakel86, V_girsius (You love this site I promise) TehNoobKilla420 (despite the fact that you weren't doing ANY killing lol), clevoir (Wish you'd stayed longer), and Yasroch77 ( I love you fellow Xianghua player and you are amazing.)

GGs to lasercakes. I had fun despite losing.

Highlight part of our short sparring: Failing to win by time up. 'Tis hardly fair! xD

Hope you liked the silly movements.
