For the record we were dead even 3-3, the others in the room were just laggy scrubbinites lol
 
GGs to MammothMan last night...Ur tricky little crouch throws got me at first, but I adapted...that was fun though

also to TheGrandBeeking (Andur) Im pretty fuckin stoked I actually got some wins in this time. I think I got you figured out sir...lol

and everyone be on the look out for my OFFLINE protege. Tazbigrooster. Hes in the very much scrubby kilik stages but coming along nicley. If yall see him in a room or something...be nice and maybe learn him a thing or 2!!

good games to koomp and red. Red, very close match thought I was done you had me 4-3 2-0. Too bad we can't play offline. Koomp, I got nothing on your Asta I need to go back to the drawing board for a while and figure some stuff out.
 
Yea good games ;) I just dont play voldos honestly your voldo is the only 1 Ive ever played more than one time... lol I have to get used to seeing some of his moves so I can react a little better ;) Also I learned something about your 2A+B,236 stuff ( I think thats the move you do alot then roll away ) , Hopefully it will work... Your BT mix ups are just to buff for me online, mix that with a couple crawl moves and its hard as hell, but we def had some good fights. Ive noticed when I play aggressive against you I win, but If I turtle up and you get aggressive you win.

I shall have my revenge... ;)
 
BT mixups are buff online no doubt, still legit offline though, plus yoshi's punishment vs BS 1A is garbage anyhow. Whereas Voldo can punish FC3K for 65 damage, so the next time we play I will be looking to guess low :-). I was glad to not be hit by so many iMCF's this time though. I understand what people say now about the threat of iMCF impacting the game more than the its actual execution.
I think playing aggressively is heavily buffed online in general which is why between the two of us, whoever was aggressive was winning. E.g. more times than I can count you would whiff throws, I would try to attack and you would actually beat me out with CH 3AB... Clearly after whiffing a throw you should block at least the majority of the time. The problem with online is that I need to react to the whiff and input something, which comes in 5-6 frames later than it should at least. Whereas you obviously know before me that you are whiffing a throw and input 3AB instantly.
To be honest I think you would beat me offline more than I would beat you but we would both be forced to better.
 
Oh PS i was going to say since Yoshi's punishment against BS 1A is so bad, unless you can really block it on reaction close to 100% offline (which isn't easy) I would still guess, not by blocking low but by going into FLE or DGF. Then do FLEK or DGF K to punish for 50-60 damage rather than... what does Yoshi even get against BS1A? 2A? Maybe nothing at max range?
 
FC 3K i guess thats what i been using to punish it lol probably 6K2K but I never try it out, cuz i'm usually just glad I blocked it for once... Im going to start implementing more 9B+K,K in certain situations, I like your FLE/DGF idea maybe I could try that as well. Also if you do start blocking FC 3K lol ( which like I said I maybe do once around if that ) and its only like 35 dmg... Then I got switch ups for that... I actually like when people start blocking FC 3K... but nobody ever does, online anyways lol. I try not to whore it out...

Like I said I just need to fight voldo more, Just like you need to fight Asta more ;) About the throw whiffing, I always do 3A,B after throw whiff... it catches people both online and off ;) just like throw whiff to iMCF... Also I barly threw out iMCF yesterday because most of the time you kept me out of range... I will find a way to counter that 2A+B shit lol just watch...
 
Well, Koomp countered it by doing nothing but blocking. If I did the k, he gets oki. If I do the b or A+B ending, he gets advantage at point blank range = grab mixups. You can eat a lot of gauge pressure like this but if you're aggressive otherwise it can work very well. FC 3K isn't punishment per se against BS 1A, that move is only -16 so it's still just a mixup, I can still block it. Also BS 1A recovers crouched so you can't use 6K2K. Having a high punisher is annoying. But yeah, anytime you can pull off the FLE/DGF idea its just a ton of damage. Counters lows and grabs simultaneously so it's an excellent way to reverse mixup.

Good games to Red, i played your Yoshi this weekend when i was home and got my ass handed to be most of the time, but it was still fun. Your the second person iv played from 8WR, besides OOFMATIC, and you both were so good.
