[Japan] All Visitors To Japan

Sundays, of course, for me. The 11th and the 25th in September work. The 25th would be better for me, though.

Oosaka: Glad to see your post! We need to play each other again!

25th it looks like I will have another meetin in the morn but in the afternoon may be free (not certain till closer to the actual day).

Thank you Oosaka for your translation work. :) I am very glad if Japanese players can read me. :)

Welcome to the thread Kayane (bows and kisses her hand)! ; )

Thanks for tellin her about the thread oosaka.

I will have a meetin the 25th that will prob finish around 12. If I'm free after that I'm up for gamez. I'll see if oosaka and sousuhi are free and up to it.

Beat a higher ranked guy a few times today (well he was high ranked but his playin wasn't so good).
Also beat a level 8 Amy (I usually try to send the new playas a welcome to SCIV mail after).
Another win and I'll be level 30- YAY! As I play any level (try not to play <10 ones too much cause I figure they are beginners) I don't expect to get very high but just hope for some fun and 5 bar gamez.
Very few 5 bars on in the afternoon, may try again tonight.

25th sounds good for me and from what I am reading I think we need to get some SC2 action in plus still no word on Setsuka so going back to Ivy or Seund Mina=\

Let me know about the possibe 2 d action so I can inform Charles Take care.

Oh and Hajime, me and Charles might take your offer on the 11th (not sure though) do you play any 2 D?

Don't know if Hajime wants to do both dayz- he said the 25th is better.

On 25th my meetin might end around 12. If the gamez are at someplace like sousuhi's then I may get there around 2 (but you guys can start before me, prob around 1 like before).

I just mailed sousuhi and oosaka about the 25th and I'll let you know what they say.

No word on Talim either but I'll play SCIV (and Talim) till the day SCV is delivered. I'll prob buy SCV but if Talim isn't in it then I'll be done playin (re: see my sig).
I will still try to arrange gamez (of course still will wanna see and talk to you guys) and support the game regardless.

EDITs
Looks like Eurogamer Expo in London (Sept 22-25) will also have a SCV demo but it will be held after TGS so I guess we're next in line:
http://www.eurogamer.net/expo/

Got some time for more online games. Won some rounds but mainly lost to Orion's Hilde.
Hilde's tough...
Got some games against a Yun/Mitsu combo. Won at least one game against each chara.
Hope to get more play time next weekend.

Hajime proposed 11th and the 25th just going by what he had posted and trying to cooridinate accordingly. Charles said he is down both days so I am seeing where everyone stands as far as dates and types of games they would like to play not just SC. Thanks for posting your schedule and games you play and your willingness to meet up Talim cant wait to see you again Peace.

I can't do both days, actually. The 11th is now booked for me, but the 25th is still open. My 23rd and 24th are now booked. Furthermore, I can't provide location.

I grew up on 2D and have no issues playing most anything. Although, I'm not a big fan of the versus series (MvC2, etc.). I can bring solid SSFIV:AE, 3rd Strike, and Alpha 3 / Zero 3 competition to the table anytime.

10-4.

No answer from sousuhi yet.
I guess if not his place then an internet cafe in Tokyo w/my 360 & sticks.

Cool thanks Hajime for your post Alpha and 3rd strike is a good game keep playing it.

Charles- Its settled my place on the 11th need to pratice some 2d for the up comming Street fighter x Tekken thats comming soon. Also Kof? do you have and if you do bring it I got some things to show you. 3rd strike is out for the xbox live and my peeps in Austin and San Antonio says its just about arcade perfect so I will be picking up the game soon (and system lol). Hit me up on my cell and lets set this up because there is alot of games thats comming out to prepare for Peace.

TalimJP :
I can't go on 11th and 25th :(
uhh I'm sad...
see you at TGS!!

HajimeOwari :
yeah I wanna play again!

Kayane :
Thank you for your nice interview and article!
almost all of SC fans in JP know you now

See ya there!
Maybe Mr. Aoi will be there too- if he is he will surely be in the MS booth.

MS Japan has their map up- SCV playable will be at the #8:
http://www.xbox.com/ja-JP/event/tgs2011/list
I'm sure Namco will have it as well (and prob Sony too).

Halo Anniversary, Ninja Gaiden 3 and Dance Central 2 need a looksie too.

EDITs-
Daishi posted in his Twitter:
Sticks and pads at all stations! Thanks man!
2 SCV stations at MS booth, 4 at Namco booth and 3 at the CIA (Creative Intelligence Arts, SCV music) booth. The CIA booth is supposed to have a cosplaya too.

No SCV at Sony?

Son said next Sat is better for him- so we'll go to TGS on Sat.

140 km and about 6 hours of riding.
Edogawa/Tone River.

Where are you?

In L.A. I used to ride from my house to the beach in the wash (river bed).
Course one time I saw the chalk outline of a person on the ground (probably from a police investigation of a dead person).
Ya the wash doesn't pass through nice neighborhoods.

My butt's gonna be hurtin for a few dayz (at least)...

Actually went to the gym and exercised a little today.

Son has many important tests for his school.
So now looks like we will do TGS on Sun.
He may have to go and leave and dependin on the action I may stay longer (in the SCV area of course).

Halo Anniversary Edition preordered.
Modern Warfare 3- waiting for the Japanese (speaking) version (that's what my son wants).
May get Self Defense Forces 2 for PSP (also for son).

oosaka will be at TGS Sat and Sun.
He and the JP playaz will be pickin the game apart.
I've asked him to translate what he finds into English and I'll post a link.

The JP playaz have a Wiki now too:
http://www14.atwiki.jp/soulcalibur_v/

At TGS don't know if I'll even play SCV as all I know is Taliim and she ain't there (yet). At the least I wll be watchin and talkin though.

And it looks like Namco is gonna put out DOA5 in 2012 as well.

EDIT
Now my son said he's free Sat so I guess we'll be at TGS that day.

OK back from a day a TGS.

Saw Daishi, Tago (but didn't get to talk), the singer of the SCV song (beautiful voice) and the cosplay at the CIA booth.
Spent most of my time there- oosaka and crew were there cause it was the only place you could record (SCV at Namco, CIA and MS booths). And they taped a lot. Thanks for the Hori sticks to use too!
Met Michinori Ozawa (and got his card). Told him we need and arcade version (I made a Twitter and posted to Daishi) and that I need Talim.

oosaka played SCV yesterday, today and will be there all day tomorrow.

Misc info-
sousuhi said WL moves are in the game.
Speed is nice and the graphics beautiful.
Who was there- Isabella Neo (I played him- he said Ivy seems like SCII Ivy and so he has to try to remember the moves; he won 3-2), sousuhi, oosaka, kilomilli, Tekito, KT Voldo, etc. Think I may have seen SK as well.
oosaka said he talked to Daishi.
All the guys went to Aki after for food and discussion (sorry guys, I gotta get up early tomorrow for cyclin (1st train) and have been pinching pennies this month)...
They are streamin now from the restaurant (they are talkin about SCV):
http://www.ustream.tv/channel/soulcalibur4games1
I used Natsu (made a joke I'm Natsu JP) and she was fun but my retirement from play stance remains (even if it hurts I don't move back on it; I'm stubborn like that).
Apparently Namco asked Sony to put SCV in their booth but they didn't accept.
oosaka has posted his findings in English in the appropriate threads (Astaroth and Maxi that I heard about).
The guy mixin the music has done movies and is famous, they will be recordin music next week in Australia.
They plan to put out an OST and maybe another CD with music inspired or music (in it's original form) that had to be changed to be in SCV.
The demo version at TGS is the same one that will be in the UK (English text version) with JP voices (or at least that's how we were playin it today).
I walked around and got some pamphlets but didn't play any other gamez. It was real crowded.
Cells didn't work- mail or callin cuz there were so many people.
I asked the Namco guy where Talim was (or will be) on the character selection screen and he said, "Oh I don't know."
Mr. Aoi said he will be there tomorrow.
The CE (critical edge) input for all charas was :2::3::6::2::3::6::A::B::K:
Double step (shows a wind effect): :2::2: or :8::8:and is good for dodgin attacks (like Talim's :2: or :8: :B::+::K: used to be in SCII).
Viola wasn't playable (I woulda tried her out) so I stuck w/Natsu.

That's all I can think of now, if I remember more I'll EDIT or post.

sousuhi got all his TGS vids up (includin a vid where he and oosaka look at the Razer stick):
http://www.youtube.com/user/ssh022yt#p/u

Sanwa had a booth and was sellin buttons and sticks at TGS (I got their catalog).

The Finals for SBO were at TGS (so it was free to watch, well you had to pay to enter TGS)- I saw a little SFII; it was crowded in there.

The TGS guidebook says SCV is 40% done.

sousuhi said games are on for next Sunday at his place (from 1).

I have a meetin (may finish before or around 12) but will be there after with my 360.
