Yes you can. You just can't do it on the initial hit in Seigfried and Yoshimitsu's case. Not every CE is GI able though.

the thing that annoys me is ^(this) is the reason why she got nerfed. people didn't know how to fight her and complained that she was too OP even though she wasn't to begin with. so namco, instead of testing it out or being the complainers themselves, take the lazy way out and just nerf her. that's why japanese gamers get bodied in SC so much cause they are used to hiding behind patches and player carrying i guess. all in all. patches are done in haste and aren't even thought through.

What's to understand?.. Don't fall for her frame traps, step her feints, and hit her about half as much as she hits you and you'll be good. It doesn't take a balance expert to see how limited she is.
