I didn't even hate mockingjay up until the final stuffs. So when Prim was all "Lol katnuss i save ppl" and then
freaking exploded
I was just like "What is the purpose of doing that? They have written off every character I can stand besides Katniss and Peeta." and for no reason! In the sewers was just like the path to derris kharlan in Tales of Symphonia T_T Every single freaking character, one after another, sacrifices themselves, only to leave you alone and crappy-feeling in the end. I still think the only thing I liked in the ending wasn't the epilogue, but when Katniss saw buttercup. I feel like the epilogue was no different than the beginning of Catching Fire, just they weren't being visited by President Snow or Coin (Because obvious reasons).

not to mention they threw annie under the bus. the "You're so lonely now you poor, poor insane woman" bus.

Without even acknowledging that. (Wasn't she also pregnant?)

Frankly, Finnick had the best character development. Katniss' felt forced, Peeta's WAS forced, and everyone else was 2D.

thank ye! Finnick was like my favorite character. I could not stand how they just out of nowhere "I have nightmares every night katniss D:" with peeta and made him the typical "so insecure its cute" style character. But I enjoyed when Peeta was hijacked because it made Katniss a little more of a real character watching her actually be afraid of something not really threatening (She could easily kill him).

I suppose I never looked at the hijacking situation like that.

And Finnick pulled off the "nightmares every night" thing better then Katniss, because he didn't mention it every sentence. And the part where he loses it and gets given his string is kinda cute, whilst still allowing Finnick to be such an effortless badass~

Well then, I think what we need to take away from this is that Harry Potter is the greatest series of our time. I can't really think of a bad thing to say about it.

This is true. I can't stress how wonderful anything ever done in the Harry Potter series and how perfect it is.

His Dark Materials I thought was excellent.

Hunger Games... not so much. "The tales of Catfish Evergreen"

Admittedly I find H.P a tad overrated, though considering the fanbase were children that grew up with it, it makes perfect sense. And it is a fine series.

My only issue with Lovecraft, though everything is very 'concept' based, my major issue is everything is so damn FERTIVE in his work. He uses the word so much.

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter was a fantastic book, especially if you are a history buff. The way he intertwined historical facts with vampires was hilarious and clever. Once I even put the book down and thought about if it was real...

Stephen King books are also all pretty good if you like horror

Got lots of these books and liking a lot of what I've read so far...too bad school has gotten in the way of progess.

I'm looking for books to read that are good by you guys' standards. I searched on Google but the only things I could find was Hunger Games and a bunch of shit about vampires and/or werewolves. I like mostly sci-fi and fantasy type books (if someone could find a non-cliche book about angels and/or demons or one that just wreaks of imagination, that'd be great).

Also, I'm not really looking for too much non-fiction stuff (I have enough...) or fiction outside of those genres, but, if there's a really good book you know of, don't be afraid to mention something else! Thanks!
My god the night angel trilogy. Not very known and very adult oriented. No limits haha. They are arounf 600 pages each but they are so good. I have read the trilogy at least 4 times. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...IuyYhmcYr89SUBpeA&sig2=TLiDmaBMRVVOX7u8eR-0oQ

Finished maze runner. Not impressed. The ending was pretty good, but I found it hard to care about the characters.

Like
when Thersa got killed at the end
I was just like, whatever. And Tom was very 1 dimensional and unlikable.

One book I really enjoyed was The Lost Continent by C. Cutcliffe Hyne. It's old... victorian era, so be warned, but it was very exciting and I loved it enough to read it twice. I even made Phorenice CaS's in SC 4. Haha, I'm pitiful.
