Mario Kart Series

haha bump?

yea this is one of my favorite racing series...i always just skip to the bowser and rainbow stages tho...they are usually the best

As much of a CTR and CTR:NK fan as I am I don't see how a game that copied so directly off Mario kart could be at all better...

Mario Kart 64 and I had a lot...A LOT of play time together...Gold Trophy'd the fuck out of that game! And made the mirror tracks my personal bitches.

I was also an in-house MK64 asshole in VS...Fuck battle though, broke piece of shit. Catch you on the flipside of Wario Stadium, bitch!

Battle mode was best on N64 and SNES, respectively. I used to play SNES Mario Kart via Xband against people across the US. Met some crazy ass players on there, people who would jump red shells like it was the easiest technique ever. Racing IMO was the most fun on the SNES version because the power sliding was much more responsive and items weren't such a big part of the game as it became in later versions. Battle mode was the best on N64 IMO because of the 4 player aspect, double decker and block fort were my 2 favorite battle zones and it was just pure mayhem. Double Dash on game cube was ok for the racing aspect, the 16 player racing mode was a pure blast whenever I got to experience it, despite the fact that everything was random in that mode.

What ?! No love for Megaman Battle and Chase ? XD

I used to have have 150 class on Super Mario Kart; however, i lost the cartrige when i was little. :( Today i've been playing the N64 version and the Wii version. The wii version is fun as hell online. >:)

I'll stick with the SNES version of Mario Kart. That will always be my shit. I wish I still had my SNES, so I play it on the computer every now and then.

I could never get into Mario Kart for the N64. It was aiight, but Diddy Kong Racing was the better kart game.

Agreed, Diddy Kong Racing was one of my favorite N64 games. I would have to bump it to second for Chocobo Racing as my favorite cart racer on any system though.

Diddy Kong Racing was what Mario Kart 64 should have been. I agree that it was the better kart game but I wasn't digging the airplane and water races in there though. I still think that N64 mario kart had the best battle mode of any of the series though. And blue shells are gay, period.

I consider games to be good on their merit as a game, so CTR can be better if it is regardless of who had it first. Soul Caliber is just a copy of Tekken and Guilty Gear is just a copy of SF2.

Ah yes, Diddy Kong Racing. Another racer that I really enjoyed. I liked it better than MK64 myself. I dug the airplane and hovercraft.

Plus the single player in DKR was pretty fucking big. Not counting the mirror tracks...Fuck the silver coin challenge, and FUCK T.T.! That bastard clock! Unlocking him was one of the "bastard moments in my childhood"...Damn was he worth it...T_T;

I've have both MK64 and DKR. I used to have CTR but it broke. I also played the hell out of Looney Tunes Racing on the PS1. that was some fun shit back in the day.
