Hate to beat a dead horse...
I was snooping around for matchup data (herro) and, playing around in practice I noticed that 22A, LI A would combo, if 22A connected at tip range. (Old news?)
I have recalled being hit by this before, and subsequently being pissed off about it because NH 22A isn't supposed to lead to anything.
anyway, 22A, LI A up close doesn't work. It's kind of similar to Pat's CH 44A, i.e. you get 1 more frame of advantage the farther away you are, which is kind of weird.
I read about some 3A stuff a few pages back and... well, it's the same thing. At tip range, it combos.
Sometimes.
Chalk it up to hitboxes. 22A at tip range, LI A will whiff on some characters too (instead of getting blocked like 3A, LI A).
Matchup-specific? Maybe... You'd have to have pretty good spacing...
Anyway, I probably shouldn't be sabotaging my own character.
