Maxi General Q&A

I know it's good to anticipate when either a body splash or that football head ram he does after Astaroth guards one of Maxi's practically_relatively safe attacks, and then attempt a JG to gain an advantage of a punishing Astaroth player.
But Irockthemaxi, I think your theory is definitely worth the risk, but not enough to repeat too many times nor to defensively spam on reaction.

Astaroth and Oprah are up in the Punishment Thread i also added nice pictures to make it look pretty. Aeon and raph will be up later today.

Something interesting I found out last night. OK heres the situation:

My back is to the edge of the ring. Im fight Pat. He BB's me, he quickly ducks anticipating a high horizontal. So I 3B his ass. OOPS 3B WHIFFS! I think ok, off axis stuff. So same situation again. I block BB, he crouches, I 3B.....WHIFF!!

So im intruigued by this so I throw out random 3B's against his Pat (it was just a recolor Pat so no CaS issues were happening here), and ono the ones where he was crouching, 3B whiffed like 7 out of 10 times.

I assume its kinda like RC AB combos randomly work on lexia. But something to look out for.

Not that 3B is a staple maxi move anymore (unlike in sc4), and prolly wont change how good maxi players play. But just thought I would pass it along.

I think this combo isn't listed in the combo thread:

LI K, a+bG, RC A, B

The key thing is a+bG after LI K. Could result in a bunch of different comboes, depending on what comes before or after that. It's a little more damaging than going straight to 6A+B (with or without BE).

It is listed. That combo is a bread and butter and should always be done unless u want to spend meter on a forward ring out by doing 6A+B BE

It's there

6A+B_6A+B(BE) s essential when against Astaroth and Ivy if you predict or are able to read when your opponent is going for a random CE, but only CEs from Astaroth and Ivy you can see coming.

I find 6A+B is Key in the Asta MU since it TCs and you can get away from the Command Throws. Not even smart Asta players go for the low throws which is beyond me.

Good tip. I had great difficulty when practing against Asta. I shall try some 6A+B, later.

Any tips against Natsu? What to do after blocking her 66B or her bomb. Ezio suffers from the same problem, the pushback is his bane.
