38 Year old Cass, that sounds disgusting imo.
Sophitia wasn't a slut. She didn't go fucking around with the male characters when Rothion wasn't there >:/i don't want pyrrha growing up like her mother. getting sluttier (excuse my language) more and more. i like pyrrha the way she is now.
i didn't mean in action. my bad. i meant in appearance.Sophitia wasn't a slut. She didn't go fucking around with the male characters when Rothion wasn't there >:/
i know right? No woman could ever be attractive at that age!
Like Sophia Vergara...she's 39.

I know. repulsive isn't it?
You really ought to see more Japanese protagonists (anime and jrpgs particularly)
I'd have to disagree with you on this. The only way a character removal would be harmful is if they decided to remove them from the game when it was already released. If they thought "Fuck it, let's get rid of Siegfried" and released a patch that removed him, then that would change the way the game is played (although this is Siegfried we're talking about). Changing the game mechanics (like removing CEs, and BEs) would also change the gameplay and would change it in a very bad way. Having characters missing/replaced between iterations is done all the time. Imo, styles like Zas, Talim, Yun and others were technically NEVER missing from SCV, because they weren't added there in the first place.I don't like seeing characters leave the series, either, not because I like the character, but because they represent a certain playstyle. Each character represents unique gameplay strategies, so when you take out a character from the roster, you eliminate an explicit way the game can be played. So, I don't really miss anyone who has an apprentice in SC5. I can do everything and more with Natsu that I was able to do with Taki.
The characters I'm more interested in complaining about are the ones whose styles don't make an appearance in SC5. As far as I'm aware, no one brings their opponents in like Zasalamel. No one jumps around and strikes from unexpected angles like Talim. No one integrates kicks into their offense like Yun-Seong. I'm even having a hard time deciding which forms of Pyrrha are supposed to be Cassandra and Sophitia (I think regular is Cassandra and Omega is Sophitia).
So, here's my question: which characters in the current roster can be played like members of the missing cast and to what degree can they by played the same way? Maybe some of them are better at doing things the non-returning cast specialized in?
Repulsive? Try Ravishing. I would soooooo take Sophia Vergara on a date or two.
shame on you for using sarcasm over the internet. :DI was definitely being sarcastic :P
Hmm..., I'm still trying to understand your argument. You're saying there's no need for the missing cast in SCV because the game was never designed to be compatible with their styles. They aimed to introduce changes in the game design that were mutually exclusive to the way you play said characters. The unique strategies and tools employable when playing these characters are not viable in SCV. Is that correct?Having characters missing/replaced between iterations is done all the time. But I'll still date her.I was definitely being sarcastic :P

If so, I'm not sure I buy into that 100%. I don't see how BEs, CEs, and meter-connected GI translate into not being able to play any of those characters. The other iterations were all a little bit different from each other, too, yet all of the styles represented in the regular cast came back in some form for the sequels after they were introduced. Why then not the characters in question? It just seems like there's no reason for it, other than that they ran out of time and/or funding.
Excuse me if I'm being too shortsighted, here. Admittedly, I'm not very good at the game. I just happen to enjoy it a lot.

high five, buddy!amen buddy, amen
Then, I wonder what those technological hurdles are and what it would take to overcome them while still keeping the game's overall integrity intact. Depending on what they were, I would've been happy to wait for what I would've thought to be a more "complete" release, but I guess that's PS and/or NB's decision to make, not my own or any one consumer's. I mean, I'd like for them to come straight out and say exactly why they didn't put them in, but the consumer base in general would most likely say, "OMFG I DON'T CARE PUT IN MY CHARACTER YOU TECHNOWIZARD I WANT THIS GAME YESTERDAY."snip
