Missing character discussion

Stages that aren't variations of each other with a night and day theme would have been nice. Cuz those took up like 6 slots for potential different unique stages!!! And why do we need 2 of Sieg's stage? During the siege and not during the siege?! (>P_P)

Well aside from characters (which this thread is about), I can think of other things that made the game what it was including Weapon Master Mode and Museum Mode.
Oh!! Sorry, spelling erro not made, it's mad haha @@
So my question was Is characters the only thing that people are mad about this game?

Well from what I have seen

- Missing characters
- Balance and glitches
- Missing modes like Weapon Master or Museum and unfinished Story
- Lack of communication and support from Namco

are the things people complain the most about SC 5. Some agree or disagree but this are the points that come up the most from my experience.

Balance? are you serious? aside from viola (infinites and ToDs) this is one of the most balanced FGs of all time.

Manfried demands the whiffs to get fixed. =)
And the other day, Zwei's B+K went right through Raph while he did prep in front of my face lol. Other than the small issues, this game is well done when it comes to balance in my opinion.

You're one of the first Sieg players I've ever heard say SCV is balanced given how offset his risk/reward is in this game.

He is balanced IMO, he is not even low-tier and even if he is, this game allows you to play ANY character and make him tournament viable, dont you think?

I saw someone winning a tournament in Soul Calibur 4 with Raphael and another tournament with Maxi. If that's the case, all the other games also let you make any character tournament viable, don't you think? :P

It kind of depends on the quality of the competition.

I've won tournaments with garbage tier characters... against garbage tier players.

That being said; the "viable tournament range" of characters in this game is larger than any of the previous SC's.

It is pretty fun in the online battle mode where you can create your own characters and fight with other people, but I did not really enjoy the rest of the SCV. I'm not saying it sucks but I think Namco can definetly do a better job. I personally think if they put more time, this game would be even better.
