Nightmare : Wiki

I started the frame date for nightmare months ago and only did the "horizontals attacks" section.
It seems someone else began with the other sections by putting the attack name, command, level, dmg and notes. And i found a lot of mistakes/different notations, i dont mind to "correct" them but i suggest we need to agree on a common language to write the different moves and effects.

For example the aga.

The simple version sould be :A::G::A:
the fast i:A::G::A: or :A:~:G:~:A:
the slow/blockstun :A:::G:+:A:

for the notes:
we need to keep it short or it screw the table display
the glowing state is called soulcharge not "powered up"

about the hit/ch properties:
nightmare got no STN or SHK effect, only KND and frame adv/disadv
for example CH GS A is not STN but +18

moves with differents properties:
for example 7_8_9A, each move must be on one line. Its easier to read this way.
same for move with instant inputs : NSS bA - NSS ibA

I think i will rework the whole frame data, so please tell me if u think i am writing something wrong, missing something or anything else.

AHAHAHA powered up? wtf

But yeah, there's no doubt that we can trust you with the wiki. The other person that was editing it must've been someone who wasn't too familiar on this board. I think the only thing that we'd have to discuss is the different agA's, and as long as we agree on one standard then it should be good.

NM CH GS A is properly notated as STN since it causes a stun that gives those frames. Effect > frames in notation hierarchy. If you wish to note the frames or effects (ex. side turn on hit) do so in the notes. When these wikis get more complete I'll be proofreading them to ensure proper notation and ease of reading.

Once the wiki's are completley done do you think they could be locked from edits except by 8 way mods like mikosu and DFG???
That would help...
Do you think each one could be locked as we go along???

frame data updated
-frames/dmg
-TC/TJ/Step
-Soul Crush

Note:
-some moves have different soul damage depending on speed or range
-some moves get increased soul damage when in soul charge
-interesting setups for soul damage: 2B+K > FC 3B(tip) / SC 3 > NSS ibA (loop?) / 1[A]6 > GS B

No... Because you are sliding from A to G then G to A. The first A nad G are being slid from, thus they are lower-case.

Interesting to know FC 3B does more gauge damage on tip. I've used 2B+K FC 3B a couple times before, but now I'm going to try to use it even more.

I think if most of NM's moves keep the same gauge damaging rate in addition to the new moves he's getting in Broken Destiny, he might be broken.

I'm not really sure if the soul guage information is correct. Mikosu found that there were some glitch with nightmare where he causes more soul gauge damage after a soul charge.

I may need to look at this again heh.

I did find some moves with different soul damage when in SC, but i did not test every moves.
If you find someting new, plz add it to the list

This is something that CF mentioned to me but i never bother verifying it

he thinks when NM is in SC mode... it's harder to land NSS [A] -> NSS bA/b:A combo.. compared to regular

-LAU

edit: it -> he... i think subconsciously i think CF isn't human

is the same with SC 3(B) nightmare launches the oppenent lower than a regular 3(B) so is harder to land the NSS bA/b:A

i tried with the record fonction (maybe not the best way) and with the same timing NM failed to connect NSS A, NSS ibA when in SC

Edit: NSS ibA seems to be slower when in SC (3B dont launch lower, its NSS moves that are slower or less recovery on transitions)
i tried to connect 1B (tip range or side), NSS ibA and impossible to do when in soulcharge
