God the end of Stand Alone Complex was retarded. They spend so much of the series trying to be mysterious and asking interesting (if completely standard) questions about AI and consciousness, then ruin it with a bog-standard corporate blackmail and a bunch of JD Salinger quotes. Not at all helped by the obtuse writing of the English dub.

lol Bubbles and your Vampire Knight.

well the English dub isn't bad at all, writing included. I think it was just the end in general but with that said it was meant to go into the GitS SAC movie and the currently in production 3rd season

Randomly started watching Kara no Kyoukai. I haven't watched anime in a long ass while, lol.

Ryougi Shiki is a pretty cool character and the soundtrack is nice (I'm a sucker for Yuki Kajiura). The story is meh though.

pfft Clannad is perfection, it's AA+B- together.

ShinobiBrown, Kara no Kyoukai's story is mixed up, you haven't seen more than 2 of the movies if you think it's just "meh"

oh...
Berserk;
has and only will be my favorite. The manga is, of course, better though. To whoever wants to watch, don't just watch and not read the manga.

@AF: I realized that. I wiki'd it and saw the chronological order in which the movies take place. Granted, I've only seen up to the 3rd movie. Plan on finishing what's left later on in the week.

See that's why it's better to recommend anime than over hype it.
I remember when KDZ over hyped Gurren Lagan, went and watch and I was like, "pssh is this it."

Yeah I agree Berserk to me is perfection, I can't even believe it's from Japan, it has a such western style of writing to it.
