P90X results: This stuff really works

sounds like my ginger wasn't the only jackass that got caught shadowboxing in grade school. lol.

LoL man If I got caught shadow boxing peeps would be amazed at my style... ( Also if I got made fun of you would most likely get rock'd ) Then it would go something like... Laugh at that bitch...

I'm ashamed to say this but I fell of the wagon about 3 weeks ago. I haven't worked out and ate crap all this time and regained fat. Looks like I'm back to the beginning again =( I'm disgusted with myself right now.

I need to work on my willpower more.


Yea my willpower in the nutrition portion kinda dwindled about 2~3 weeks when I went home, there was nothing but junk food there (corn dogs, hamburger, chips, soda, etc). I did the best I could with what I had (eating tuna, peanut butter, and wheat bread for about 2 weeks) but when I got back to school some of those bad habits picked up and I ended up eating cookies and burgers.

I still been getting my results but it was going slower, and now that I been putting them aside they've been speeding up my process.

I got a friend telling me how he works his abs about 30 minutes a day to keep them, and he has a pretty solid mid section. I'm gonna try working them 4 days a week and see what happens.
 
Too much tuna's not the best idea anyway. If you eat too much of it with no variation in your diet, mercury can start building up in your system.

Isnt that like only in Japan? LoL The fish have to be in mercury polluted waters... I doubt any tuna in the US is going to give you mercury poisoning....
 
As I understand it, most tuna has trace amounts of mercury in it. It's fine in small doses, but there was a guy on NeooGAF that tried a tuna diet for weight loss and after about 2 months, he ended up with mercury poisoning when it built up in his system.
 
Updates updates updates!

Well I can honestly say that my hybrid routine of p90x is a pretty good success! I tried 3 weeks of a hybrid workout routine with modifying and intensifying to comes up with some crucial results. It's all borrowed from the p90x/beachbody workout routines but mixed in a way not presented in the disks, composed of chest/bicep/tricep, and shoulders/back/core. If need be, I can post the two hybrid routines to anybody who want them. This is what I'm currently looking like after the 3 week hybrid routine:

It trimmed my waist and defined my triceps more than anything, but you really can't tell in the pic though.

And here is a side by side shot of before I started the hybrid and where I am now:

I'm not going to lie; if I hadn't seen all the progress pics, I'd start to think this was one of those manipulated before/after shots you see in ads all the time. Excellent work.

Are you going to continue with your hybrid routine or try something different?
 
Well what i'm thinking of doing is mixing them in for 2 weeks for each phase and lessin' the actual phases so I don't do too much wear on my body. I did 3 weeks of this hybrid to see if it was worth keeping.

I can post the list of workouts if you want.

I look at my arms and just think damn, I never thought they'd get like this. Curling 45's through the workout, using weights during none weighted excercises, and I'm able to pull 16 pull-ups in a row! I'm extremely excited, this routine is MAAAAAAGIC!

Continuing to bring it, I'll update the front page by the end of the semester, almost a year later.

AMAZING progress! You look HUGE (In a good way) and way more cut up! Congratulations man I envy your convictoin. If your not living proof that P90X done the right way works wonders idk who is.

nice Sho. i just finished Yoga X last night and i was pouring sweat. tough stuff. still can't do the crane stance yet, but i'll get there. got Legs and Back today. into my 2nd week. hope to have results like you when im done.

Dang Shogun! You thinner than a mug! Good stuff, bro. I'm jealous... Man, the only turning me off is the meal planning and hard exercises. I mean, I kind of do that with my diet now, but I watched vids on YT and that ish just looks like you have to invest time in planning and while that's also true of mine, mine's simpler. I choose what I want, something at least somewhat healthy, eat, and add... But I can't argue with your results. P90X? Hmm...

There's the fruits of my labor since I've been in school this year, and now on to graduation and back to real life. At least I can say i'll look good in my Graduation Outfit when the time comes!

Also I updated the front page with my current progress just to show how well and effective this program can work if you do stick with it. I hope my story can continue to motivate you guys as well as it has the people around me day-to-day. This program has completly changed my life, and it can do the same for you. Bring it 8wr! X

For the next month I'm gonna do only insanity plus some other workout. I plan on working out twice a day for a total of 90min a day. I want to lose about 10-15lbs of fat, I wonder if it's possible. I was the one who encouraged people not to lose weight fast, now I'm doing the exact same thing xD June 15 is my deadline.

Ring!! Im planning on starting Insanity on the 1st of June! I plan on working for only 60 mins though and I'm not yet sure how successful it will be considering my goals are to gain muscle mass and shed a little fat. I loved the intensity of it though and the fact that its like accepting a challenge and pushing my physique to the limit.
