Simple,

Patroklos has Sophitia's 3A+B, 44B+K, 1A, 236, 236K, and the final move in Sophitia's 8A+K+A+B, He has a move similar to Sophitia's 236A+A, except the secondary hit seems to be replaced by a vertical hit similar to Sophitia's 66B. He also has moves that look like Sophitia's 3A, 8K, 66A+B (His shield rush), 4A, 4B, 88 or 22B, 1K, and A+B. His throw that "resembles" cassandra's crouch grab where he kicks them in the face also resembles Sophitia's G+A Grab, because he kicks then in between the legs then he kicks them in the face. Patroklos also has another throw the "Right" side throw I believe, where he hits his opponent with his shield under their arm then he does a move that resembles Sophitia's 44B+K. Over all Patroklos has many Sophitia moves and Sophitia inspired moves, however he's almost completely new. Supported by the fact that not many people knew how to employ him during the tournaments held by both Kayane, and Top French Players. Therefore, people still need to practice with him to get better and have a better and much more depth understanding on how he's utilized. He maybe similar to his mother (even the developers said he would be, also hinted by the fact that even his weapon and 2p costume resemble Sophitia's, and it's obvious and logical for him to be similar to his mother and not his aunt) but he's still a completely new character which has different tactics to his mother, aunt, and sister. (PERIOD)

Those moves you mentioned have different animations and different properties, they are completely different moves. None of his moves resemble Sophie's except the angel step and 236A. His 236B seems exactly the same mechanically as Cassandra's non-hold version of 236B, though. He seems more like Lizardman than he is to Sophie. But I agree, completely new character. The only thing he really has in common in terms of strengths is punishing ability.

And guess who is over the moon to hear about it? lol.

*looks at signature* omg that loss... I will never live it down. Despite being tired and disoriented from the rave that night I thought it'd be an easy win.

Sophie is a dumb character, I'll be happy to abandon her for a more aggressive character that still rewards knowledge of unsafes due to a punishment game

Hahaha - ditching your main? Nice dedication, Signia. ^_~

Never in a million years. =)

On a serious note - learn Setsuka.
I have no dedication to such a lame character. I only stuck with her because I have the most success with her, and I went too much trouble learning esoteric things to learn another character again with that much depth. Setsuka is a good idea, but it's difficult to learn her without some offline competition, learning her online is tough. I may give it another try, though. She is the perfect character.

Tell me about it. I genuinely think she has even more potential than Ivy - I'm properly into her on stick:
Throw mid with better throws than Siggy and a safe mid with a good low game, good punishment, great whiff punishment at almost any range, good pressure tools, sick okizeme, high damage and RO potential with a very present fear advantage in so many situations - I love her! =D

Not all of the moves I mention have different properties to Sophitia's. For example he has Sophitia's 3A+B. and 1A, and actually his 236K, is exactly the same as Sophitia's. Where she kicks her opponent in the face. Other moves I mentioned only resemble in appearance, but not mechanically. And yes I say he's completely new, even if he bares 2 or 3 moves like Sophitia's.

This is stupidly random, but I was watching this video for Dissidia 012 and hearing Cecil's line at 1:55 "...come judgement" made me realize he sounds an awful lot like Pat... does anyone know if they are the same VA?

Edit - Yes they are the same, he's Yuri Lowenthal and he also did the voice of a male CaS in SC4.

Just tweeted to Daishi about making this scrapped 2P costume C-a-S parts.

Just outta curiousity, does patroklus share his fighting style with either of the sisters? Cause based on his stance he looks like he has more of a unique style despite using the exact same weapons. But I was never really a fan of the sisters so it might just be due to my lack of experience with their style.
