PSN DOWN WTF?!1

Now that PSN isn't working, I have been going back to my old roots of playing offline Hack and Slashes like Dynasty Warriors. With the 7th game in my hands, I could play this all day long and not get bored.

It also gives me the opportunity to train offline only without the option to go fight noobs online.

Even with that though I do hope online comes back on soon. I want to buy my AH3 already...

anybody up for some Diablo1?

diablo 2 lod*
no, diablo 1 FTW! d2 lod is meh; a good game in its own right, but in chronological order of the series and at the core roots of the gameplay and atmosphere, d2 just cant compare to d1. d1 had that gothic atmosphere, d1 was challenging, d1 wasnt overly flashy, and d1 required a good amount of strategic planning during combat. i busted through d2 in no time with life stealing, mana stealing and perfect block =/ it was fun, but it wasnt as good as d1 IMO.

Maybe with PSN down, it's a good time for people to try and play some Soul Calibur offline. Hint hint.

I agree with slayer. Plus D2 became too much about multiplayer. In D1 it was an option, in D2 you actually had to be in a full party to get some items to drop. This forced you online to meet other players, see their gear/performance said gear gave them and added a "keeping up with the jonses" gear loop element that they'ed later employ infinitely in world of warcraft.

i still can't believe people are actually this upset about not having PSN for a few days. lololololololololol

I would fuck with Diablo 1 right now if I had a copy.
well its cheap to pick up, and there's alot of other methods to get the game. if you're desperate you could check amazon, or if ur lazy pick up a copy of diablo 2 battle chest; thats how i replaced my original copy of D1(disc was too scratched to read). you could probably special order a copy of it from blizzard too. or you can get it by alternative means of your choice.

EDIT: oh yes and if you have compatability issues with running diablo1 on vista or windows 7 PM me. it took a bit of research, but its perfectly possible to run the game properly and fully enabled on a modern operating system

If you like Diablo- try Din's Curse. It's a really awesome twist on Diablo- I put over 100 hours into that.
Really highly recommended.
Din's Curse? is that another mod for diablo? i've already played a few mods such as The Hell, Awakening and the famous V&K mod.
