PSN/XBL Ragequitters

I'm not even gonna lie, and please don't judge me too harshly on this. I was naive at the time. I was playing at GC. Middle of the night ok. This guy challenges me, his main is Ezio. Abuses his arrows like crazy but I never cared. We fought a couple of times before, I won a couple, he won a couple. Well anywho, he challenges me right when I was about to go to bed. I think to myself, ok I might be able to do one more match. Nope I was wrong. There was actually a period when I almost dosed of in the middle of the match. I thought to myself you know what, I'll just quit, let him know I'm too tired to play and I'll play him again the next day. All hell broke loose. He starts sending these messages in GC about me rage quitting. I think he was trying to embarrass me or whatever, but I just sat there and stared. Didn't respond or nothing. After he left, I talked about it with an online buddy who was trying to calm him down. He knows I don't rage quit. He kicked my ass plenty of times lol. He said we were both equally wrong and I agreed. I learned my lesson though, ALWAYS finish a match regardless of the situation...Jesus O_O
Quitters suck but your not really a quitter. Real rage quitters are the sore loser/ douche bag type. The dude who fought you just over reacted.

A short while ago, I fought this guy who mained Mitsurugi on ranked and he had over 2000 wins and something like less than 100 losses. I will admit, he was very good and he completely destroyed me in no time flat. So anyway, on that same day, I fought with him about four times and on the final round of the last match, I was starting to catch on to his tactics and put up a decent fight; on the finishing hit, I had Pyrrha B+G grab him and it was successful but he quit just as it was going to connect.

I was so utterly salty about it. It wasn't that my score would have been affected or anything like that, but I kind of respected him for the fact that he was a really good player and I truly felt like he made me work for that win. When he quit, it was literally like waving a bag of $5000 dollars in front of my face that I know I worked hard for and then throwing it into a fire!

I ran into him a few days ago, but I just quit the match as soon as it started... he sent me a message saying "seriously???" and I politely said to him in response "If we can't have a fair game, then I'd rather not play at all". The only reason I play ranked mode in the first place is because I get declined so much in GC and I feel a little nervous to join player matches, since most people in the group seem to already know each other... >.< Then there's also the hatred of Viola players, so that doesn't really help ^_^;;;

join player sessions. most of them are just random people fighting each other. and through random fights, you then become a regular XD. also, match quitters are more likely to get booted there. is that guys gamertag still on your recent players list?

Yup, making a player room is often a good idea. If you run into a ragequitter, you can move on and fight the next guy in line, and if the connection is god awful, you have the power to kick them.

Plus, you can always give your room a title that will make the densest people not join it. My favorite titles as of late: "lol 5 rounds" and "JOIN=GET KICKED"

"Join=Get Kicked"? Does that mean if I join the room I get kicked? How does that work?

That's no fun. So much random shit happens when you play with randoms.
When I fight randoms it's never random. "Sieg is overpowered", "Quit spamming", "That JF slash is a bad move", "You're a faggot", "Go back to Ranked" Etc. If they don't attempt to insult me I simply get kicked before the menus can even load up.

I'm talking about the random shit they do during a fight like jumping into the last hit of his Maxi's JF in open space. Besides don't forget I main Maxi and have gotten far worse messages...
