Pyrrha will be in SCV

When thinking about it, there's some rational explanations why Pyrrha would be very confused and scared in general. Just imagine when she was young and Sophitia trained her in combat.

Sophitia: So here's a basic swing with a sword...
Pyrrha: Mommy, shouldn't you be wearing more clothes for combat?
Sophitia: And here's my favourite combat move!
Pyrrha: Mommy, why are you sitting on that guy's face?

Hopefully, they'll let you pick out which victory poses and quotes you do. Just like winning perfect with a male Amy, just disturbing to see that.

The name of her style "protected by her sword and shield" could mean that her weapons are posessed. When i heard that name for the first time i thought that they might be posessed by sophitia's spirit to protect her daughter...

I really like Pyrrha, she is in a fight, she is fighting to death, she could die... it's normal to feel nervous and lose confidence in herself, look Astaroth now look Pyrrha, no way she could beat him.

She is like "I don't wanna be here, please get me out of here" this feeling is from a warrior, a soldier on the battlefield, this is what really should feel a fighter who fights to death, this is why I love this character, Pyrrha is a masterpiece.

I wonder if she knows that she has a brother.
"Before the events of Soulcalibur V Pyrrha has lived her life as a wanderer for seventeen years, not knowing her family exists because she has no one she can truly call "family"."

I totally forgot that last part.

I like that. I hope that's true. Because then I wouldn't feel as bad thinking that her body is being used by SE and not her will/ spirit. That's what really got to me.

I don't find her crazy. Just scared and misunderstood. It's not like she's lashing out on people because she likes it. That's what Tira does. And THAT, is crazy to me. xD
Think about it she gets thrown out the ring and screams sorry for enjoying the pain. She hits you with a high damaging combo or throw and asks you if your ok so she can continue to inflict pain upon you. The whole innocent girl act is just a ruse for her sick twisted nature.

you people XD we have enough twisted females who enjoy to inflicting pain to others... imo pyrrha doesn't control anything she does when someone attacks her, that's why she's so terrified. In her "please stop" quotes she imo speaks to herself, this is backed up by her "I can't stop" when doing the critical finish, she doesn't seem to control her body.
Looking at her background, she wouldn't be able to fight this well, she is a wanderer, not a martial artist, and her clumsy throw only supports this. She seems to be the only untrained "warrior" among the characters. And stop bashing her personality, anyone who doesn't know anything about figthting would cry and be terrified in her situation, a young, timid girl especially!
And she's wielding Sophitia's weapons, the weapons Sophitia was using during sc4 when Pyrrha was already long gone. That's why I think the weapons are posessed and somehow came to her posession, but she is "protected by her sword and shield" that's why I think this isn't any malevolent power.

That's what I like about Soul Calibur! Such a wide variety of characters with different emotions. It's almost like an anime, but only without so much comedy. Although it's a little sad/annoying/wierd I still like Pyrrha to a certain extent. She kinda reminds me of a female Siegfried... a more emotional Siegfried.

And how do you know that she enjoys the pain? Have you ever seen her smile when she inflicts/recieves pain? Don't be so quick to deamonize her. Her "sick twisted nature" is probably nothing less than out of her control. I agree that she might not be able to control herself when she fights. But it's most likely not the way you view it. It's not like: "Oooo a fight! I'm gonna tear them to peices!" because that's Tiras mindset. Pyrrha's mind to probably like: "Oh no! Someone's trying to hurt me or is intimidating me! I don't know what to do!" then probably shuts down and something intervenes. A force that literally forces her to fight and finish it before she can leave. That's why she cries when she wins. She dosen't understand herself as to why she even fought, feels guilty, and then runs away.

It seems to me like Pyrrha can control herself. Maybe she's apologizes because it was in self defense. When you think about it, she grew up on her own, so it may have made her unstable.

Pyrrha is obviously designed to pander to the otaku moe crowd. She´s really cute, seemingly sweet and gentle. It goes with the "oh I wish I could take care of this damaged child" thing that japanese people like so much, except Pyrrha is not a kid - she's 20 and hilariously meek for a supposed homeless wanderer.

Oh for fuck´s sake, she has amnesia. That´s like the oldest cliche in the book. she´s still alright though

she has a horrible backstory but im gonna gloss over that, because without that, shes an interesting character for all the reasons i said earlier.

How does she have amnesia exactly? Viola has amnesia, Pyrrha doesnt. She has ptsd at best lol, not remembering events from being 3 years old or younger is considered normal... Esp if someone has had traumatic experiences and at her age when she was kidnapper I consider being left all alone in the middle of nowhere a traumatic experience. Or being shunned by people.
That aside, what's wrong with designing a character to appeal to a certain group of viewers? I think its their job lol xd

Not that this is a defense of the "otaku moe crowd" but most of them don't give a damn about 3d unless it's a 3d rendition of their favorite 2d character. Pyrrha's voice is too ugly, and she wears too much eye shadow to be moe.

The people that Pyrrha panders too is an even more irritating kind of person that tries to apply moe and their anime obsessions to everything else, a syndrome that is much more common in America.

I watched quite a bit of Kayane's livestream yesterday and I was able to see all of Pyrrha's win animations. Which are as follows (I'm paraphrasing her quotes):
-She shouts "It's your own fault!" and runs away.
-She looks downwards with a very depressed look on her face.
-She says "Oh... my head... it hurts." and she collapses to the ground.
-She says "It can't be my fault." and she starts crying.

Isn't this taking her attitude to the extreme? Sophitia said sorry once in a while, but Pyrrha is taking this to a whole new level. She seems to be depressed and sad all the time.

Most depressing character of all time? You have clearly never read a Russian novel.
