Pyrrha will be in SCV

I still think they need to get more creative and add some personality to her fighting style that reflects her as a character more, I'm still seeing too much sophitia and not enough Pyrrha, I'd hate for her and Lexia to be just clones of their parents. At least with lizardman he had recognizable moves that was his own. I mean right now Pyrra's best move to my knowledge is the jump-spinning move and I think Cassandra and Sophitia have that already. Its okay to give her at least 1 move that sophitia had, personally Id like her to have the headscissors move, the crotch kick or the gut stab but no more. They gave Abelia her own moves 100% so they should do the same for Pyrrha who is a more serious character to the series.

If pyrrha is a hestant fighter then she should have defensive moves and "regretful" strikes.
And whats with that grab where she just falls down and the enemy fall on top of her?

I completely agree with TypicalEvil. Pyrrha doesn't need any inherited moves otherwise she pretty much becomes another lizardman from SC2. she needs her own moves. different character = different moves. I would hate to play a new character and feel like I'm playing an old one. Natsu is already more than enough.

You won't be able to play her like Sophie despite the similarities between the move sets. She has a weaker back dash and she has a weaker punishing range. She doesn't have 4B if she wants to get in. Her 66B can't make force blocks that leave her at -2 which was awesome with Sophie's back dash or even fear of Sophie's backdash.

Pyrrha instead has decent lows and an oki game.

If you don't want some form of Sophie to be in SCV, I'm afraid you simply need to find a more exciting character. If you aren't looking forward to playing BB, BB, 236B again this character might not be for you.

If someone weren't based on Sophitia, then we wouldn't have Sophitia's play style at all. At that point you're basically admitting you wish she were gone, you haters!
I'm not saying I'm going to play as her because of her playing style. I just don't want another bonus character moment. I'm glad that Pyrrha has a lot of moves that are her own and she has a few moves that are obviously taken from her mother or aunt. I just don't want to see anymore. I'm just a hardcore casual player so I don't completely care about frames too much. at least not talking about them and I completely don't care about tiers at all.

and Vincent I don't understand your reasoning.

Pyrrha isn't really a new character in terms of her fighting style, since she has clearly borrowed most of Sophitia's moves and acts as her direct replacement. Asking for Pyrrha to be more unique doesn't make sense, unless Sophitia returned as well.

I'd rather see Sophitia get announced and Pyrrha get her own style but it doesn't seem likely at this point.

lol what are you worried about? you still have your BB, AA, 66K, B+K, 2K, A+B, throws, and now an even better TJ than Sophie's 9B. The only thing you lost from moves you actually use is 4B. Looking back I was shocked that you never used TAS B at Devastation. You shouldn't be worried, as a minimalist Sophie player.

I however use a lot of the stuff that was removed, the stuff that made Sophie slightly less boring. Pyrrha will be a very boring character. But I'm happy to hear 4B+K will return, I wonder if the pushback and safety and BS hitboxes is still there, same goes for WR K.

Didn't you mean to quote me in the other thread on move analysis? I actually agree with you as Lasercakes pointed out, all they need to include is 4B and 66B.

If you see me single A in SC4 with Cass, half of that is because single A was good in every other version, and the other half is because I hit AB instead.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with her move set. She kept Sophie's WS B (I miss this move so much), but I would rather her have kept Sophie's 3K instead of Cass' (another move I really miss).

And if there's any move I really want to come back, it's Cass A+B without the whiff.

She has her 11AA. The animation is new, she steps back a bit more and TCs lower, but instead of an unblockable, she gets a Guard Break if you charge it. Not sure if anything is guaranteed of the GB, though. That move was stupid and you all know it.
