Quick Steps (How to Learn Calibur)

I like the idea behind it, its a nice start.
Thanx for actually taking the time to do it. How long did it take you actually? Cause once I have the logo up I want to get the trailer out there ASAP and I may come to you for some help.
 
Ok, for the names.
I'm feeling Quick Steps: Destined Battles. I might run with that.
The analysis show is the only thing left, and is looking like the harder one now.

Another thing. The order in which the shows get released is something I've been having trouble deciding after speaking with ppl about it. I initially had it, where Quick Steps would be first (Character Breakdown) then Destined Battles (See that character in action) then the analysis of the match (duh.)

The other order was having the Destined Battles be first, then the analysis, then Quick Steps. With Quick Steps being last, we can reference the match and the analysis for the breakdown.

Any thoughts on order?
 
I think Quick Steps should be first so people can have an understanding of why move specific moves where used in certain situations and they can think for themselves on other possible implications throughout the match.

I'm trying to help with names, but I'm stuck on the grudge match show. I keep thinking in terms of logo design, and all I have on the mind is something like Rivals. (I'm pretty sure that name is taken already, who knows.) ARGH, CREATIVE CONSTIPATION. >.<

You could do the breakdown first, talking about their useful tools and what not. (Perhaps mention Frame Data?)

Then do a Quick rundown of the match-up situations for that particular character, and how to deal with bad match-ups.

Lastly, you could do a gameplay for the character and do the analysis while it is going on (e.g. temporarily pausing the gameplay at certain paticular parts such as maybe Ivy's grab, and what the character can do to punish it, etc).

If you are making the logo are you just making a logo or are you going to make a short animation for it? I am not sure how to do that though so it's your call ;)

It took me roughly 30-60 min max. Then about 10 min to upload. So all together roughly 40-70 mins.
 
I can animate as well, as I know flash. So it's up to Dreamkiller what he wants of me.

Ima analyze the SHIT outta this game, get me a guest spot Delnar. We can record matches of me beating up your Natsu and analyze it for the internets. <3
 
FINALLY got my tablet today. Expect graphic designan gaems soonish. :3 Meaning as soon as I can get Delnar on skype to chat.
 
So the logos are getting started.

We went with the SC characters in chibi form doin something funny.
So far we have Taki/Natsu - Teacher/Student chibis for Quick Steps and headbutting chibis for the Grudge Match show. Although Destined Battles is looking likely as a candidate, we're still trying to come up with names. Probably something with Rivals in it too.

It's scary how close this thing is. Hopefully it'll turn out nice and right and everyone loves it.

PS - Hates will always win me over...The Quick Steps Special: Calibur Fashionistas will air the weekend Hates makes his way to the EC. Stay tuned -_-
