R.I.P. Thread

Suicide only occurs when one believes there's no way out of their emotional turmoil other than death.

I don't see the need to condemn them when they wouldn't know how to resolve "bad" feelings.

I agree with Landslide's post, not ever person has a strong family structure and is 100% mentally capable of dealing with stress. Weather it be that they feel through their death they can make others feel bad, or to stop an extreme emotional pain.

Suicide is horrible, living is the winners way, but at the same time, taking your own life is not being a coward. The Japanese Samurai believed death was better than dishonor, and the wider the cut across their abdomen the greater their honor was. In their culture honor was everything, and losing their honor to them was worse than the pain of death. I'm a very happy individual, but I sympathize with depressed people, I read about one guy who was dying of throat cancer... he had 5 months to live. Suddenly his life had a clock on it, whereas we can live our lives freely assuming "Well I still have plenty of time."

Not to bash on you Fenris, but dramatic discussions like this are very personal with many people, as much as I know you like your e-sona to come off as a troll-cool guy who doesn't care, it's quite pitiful actually. I know on the internet it's no-hold boundaries, but at least when discussing the tragic deaths of people, hold a fragment of respect for them please.

He Deserved It.

Fenris I know you like to antagonize frivolously your opinion on the internet, but this is a case where you shouldn't pour gasoline on fire. Sure I get that suicide is stupid, but just imagine if someone you held dear take his/her own life. How would you feel? I know for a goddamn fact you wouldn't shrug this off.

You'd probably be enraged and sad that someone you trusted pulled the plug on their own life without knowing why. Rarely do I make a fuss of how you are since I'm easygoing, but are you that vain to stoop this low for attention? If so, you better become more famous than Michael Jackson or someone of that level.
