Yes,we have a mute user system here in the forums, just follow these steps:
User CP>Edit Ignore List> Type in the name you wish to ignore...> Okay
And there,you'll no longer see the member you have blocked post from there on unless you remove them.

...unless somebody quotes him. Then his text will be seen in the post created by the quoter.

Thanks for the clean up, Tag. ...but if there is a rabid rat going around infecting the neighborhood, wouldn't it be more efficient to get rid of the rat than to continually give out rabies shots to everyone in the hood? ...just sayin. :)

but doesn't deleting posts ruin the spirit of the random post thread? I mean part of the fun was watching the random crazy shit that occurs in here. be they good or bad. I mean i can understand in other threads but... as one of the founders of the original random post thread back in the soul calibur forum days...

it was pretty much.. whatever happens, happens in here. that's the point.

somehow... i get the feeling we're slowly losing touch with that.

to that end, i must applaud shit stain. because even though he tries to be an ass and all this that and third.

he somehow in a round about way still embodies the original spirit of the random thread:

bored motha fuckas lookin to have fun.

so i can't say i approve of the deleting of these posts.

but i can say i understand the logic behind it.

still.... I can't condone it. sad sad day....

I see what you're saying, Madnis, but the thread had started to stray away from being random, and becoming a hate thread. I don't really care if it's removed or not, but I'm glad it's finally over. And I can understand why, if it was deleted. Though you may not mind it, and I'm indifferent, this is still a community of sorts, and I imagine a larger portion of that community was just getting annoyed -to say the least.

I can understand your POV and respect.
But matter of the fact is... if I were to have left the whole conversation between you and him up,it'll only bring in more users to it and just straight out start a flame war. Some people didn't want to get into it,but I could see how they caved and decided to get involve and that's something that I didn't want to happen.
What I don't understand is how one day users say "omg admins need to do their job and look after the site" and when we do ....it's a "omg yall are favoriting people up in dis bitch!" so it's like,lol, what the hell do you people want? Not to offend.

I'm trying to be fair and give people a verbal warning before I take course of action... I gave Assthumb a fair warning and he just decided to attack people at a more personal level,which to me,is uncalled for and unnecessary.
IF you guys wish to have a thread specifically made for yall to shit talk each other to death....then by all means,have a petition up for it and see what happens.

NOTE: by writing this post I do not mean to offend anyone,it's just MY point of view in the situation.
