Imagine one is an architect. One has designed a fantastically tall building with all the trimmings. Construction begins one sunny day and years down the line you're looking forward to dedication ceremonies and whatnot.

Many moons later you decide to check out your building to see if it lives up to your vision. Now you're no engineer but it seems like they're still building so you check your designs. Can't see this in here you think but you let it pass and indeed more time passes.

You've moved on to other things, perhaps even vocations, but you'll never forget what you no doubt regard as your crowning achievement and think, 'I wonder how that's doing', deciding to go for a visit. What you see is like before except they've added more floors under the part you couldn't find in your designs. Now troubled you visit the construction office and ask them what they think they're doing to your building. 'That stuff even up to code?', 'who's in charge of this mess?', you ask. Please stop you beg,

Don't worry they tell you. It's too big to fail.

If one were to pose a question such as is this merely an objective structure consisting of random elements and parts brought together by mere chance with nary even a mere consideration for the aesthetics of form and function which is to say artistry who could even begin to entertain such sophistry? How could such sophistry extend even to this? Curious is the apparent non-existent form of said questioner.

Some (like me) might say the Undertaker is a far better wrestler than the Rock. Even if this were objectively true at somepoint or another others still may nonetheless favour Mr Johnson's wrestling talents.

This is called competition and it's literally the job of your average sportsperson to be competitive and win at their sports. Objectively this is success in their fields and there can only be one winner.

But the Undertaker can never be a better Rock than the Rock nor the Rock a better Undertaker than the Undertaker and I think tis safe to assume neither would actively choose such an asinine goal even if this is professional wrestling we're talking about. But even if they did in the spirit of this sport it would of course obviously be an act and merely pretend.

Why is it then that nobody ever seems happy to simply be who they are even to let others be the best they can be? Life is not training. Tis not a competition. When did everyone forget competition was supposed to be fun? Does it not kind of defeat the point of it?

The truth is not what you say happens. The truth is not what someone said happened. There is always more
The truth is simply what you say. Simply what someone said. What it means and there is always more to be said.

I think there comes a point when every man, every person, must ask themselves a seemingly simple question. This is however a question of utmost seriousness. Utmost importance. The proverbial 'right' question that is to be asked. Once asked it can never be unasked and life may never be quite the same. That question is:

Is a retarded retard actually fairly smart?
