Few first testing thought strictly for combos (if you want to talk about "useful moves" we can make a different general discussion t
1) For 22BB:
Followup with 214:B if up close
Followup with 236:B if farther than grab range.
If you choose the wrong one you'll whiff horribly

2) After 66A+B or AG B the 8A+B does a spike on airborne opponent where they land at your feet. You can grab faster than they'll even stand up and 2A will whiff. They can't air control both hits of 8A+B as well.

3) 66A+B 6A+B 214:B i'm only getting 73 damage for the JF version. How are you getting 76 ?

4) 6A+B is surprisingly good as the first airborne hit as it has decent range and keeps the opponent close

5) 214:B seems to do a lot less damage after 3B, compared to other launchers like AG B and 66A+B. It does 20 damage after 3B, but does 34 damage damage after 66A+B and 32 damage after AG B.

6) Most NC combos that transition into AG can quickly be transitioned back into prep for an additional BB on NC. Example = 22AA46BB which when broken down is 22AA4~AG6~prepBB does 4 hits. Same with wrBB46BB and 6B46BB. 22AA is easiest to try on and wrBB was the toughest. Either way its tough with the weird input delay (for me at least). I could not combo off evade B46.. since they get knocked down so prepBB doesn't combo and prepAB is not enough range because they get knocked so far

7) Wallsplat after evade B: You can score evadeB 66(B)~prepA(B)~prepKKB for about 54 damage. You can score 66(B)~prepA(B)~prep6B for 50 damage. You can do evadeB46 prepA(B)~prepkkb for about 53 damage You can do evadeB46 prepBBB for 49 damage. You can do evadeB BB:BB for 52 damage

Or you could followup with 3B for ring out for low walls
or followup with 4A+B 2A+B for 62 damage.

evadeB46~prep6B for a juicy 58 damage :D or you could do evadeB 46~CE into 84 damage

** hard for me to test because I can't even get my controller configs to the way I like it (1 button max for each game input is retarded)

1) i find that the best thing for 22_88BB is 66B prerp its guaranteed take 40 DMG and you have nice follow up from prerp or if you have metter use A+B+K for 70 DMG

2) Thats way the best option for close 66A+B_AG B is 6A+B, 214B its guaranteed

3) On ch take 76 dmg

4) yeah its working only close

6) yeah I wrote that without knowing that cancel exists now I know. Now we have a new NC combos :)

Like this

7)Nice I did not test wall combos the day have only 24 h :D

Hey guys, havent been around here for ages. I hope everyone is doing great and its cool to see that the forum is still active, because nowdays all the info is too split in different places, twitter, dozens of discords etc.

Here are combo option for Raphael after you land a successful RE K in the second round near the corner. The 2nd round hits are LH of course, but the wallsplat in this situation gives you additional option including landing a 2nd RE. I dont know any other way to land 2 RE in a combo with Raphael. Also, just in case want to mention that the forward throw combo is not guaranteed so these are not really dead combos, but you can still use that as a tool to land big damage and possibly kill the opp if you have confidence in your RE guessing game.

66a+b > 3b ~ prep > prep kkb

works every time. They cant air control after prep k hits. And prep k will hit, because prep will move you forward enough every time.

Nevermind, its not super guaranteed if opponent AC back-right. :( it is a cool combo, if they dont lol

These are more like notes while I finally get to play by staying up till 2AM!

SE B 66B+K Prep 4 K:K 2A+B (89-91)
3B W! SE B is a combo, but requires a tight SE input and thus more commitment.
Most wallsplats can be followed with B4 W! 66B Prep AB Prep KK:B

44A+B W! 3B W! SE B 66B+K Prep 4 K:K 2A+B is 148, and the most damage I’ve found thus far.

SC Prep 6KK W! 3B W! SE B 66B+K Prep 4 K:K 2A+B is 104

SE B B4 is more damage that SE B 66A+B for W! it’s also not a good idea to do both as you scale hard.

The second hit of Prep AB will get a W! nearly every time, so don’t waste it, as it adds no properties to the move. Sadly, this means W! Prep AB Prep 6KK W! in SC is not viable/possible. SE B into 3B W! Prep 6KK W! works well though.

SC Prep AB in W! combos still combo into Prep 6KK though, but not, say, SE B 66B Prep AB Prep 6KK.

Found niche but incredibly strong one online, will link later:
SC A+G W! BB:B4~6 BBA+B W! WR BB4~6 BBA+B, ~170 damage

@Lonvoen
I wouldn't say it's niche. My logic is that in SC nearly every stun should be followed with BB:B4:6 Prep BBA+B (crazy damage.) The pushback on SC Prep BBA+B makes the w! quite pheasable.

I think this, or something similar, will be the BnB finisher of choice.

I have a SE B heavy game plan, so I want to test SC SE B BB:B4:6 Prep BBA+B w! WR BB4 6 Prep BBA+B w! 66B Prep AB Prep KK:B. I am not sure if there are any shared stuns, but we should be approaching 200 damage if it works.

I'll be back home about 9PM to test it.

Here is a video with basic combos for Raphael(no wall combos) that might be useful to new players

Here are some stuff that u may know or not know about. 6B Stance Cancel into BB or BK is a natural combo, BUT so is the 2nd hit of B+G, B. Hold B then 4~6 BB or BK. Also you can Delay the 3rd hit of a regular BBB, so it can be BB:B

Zanaken

[10] Knight
145 - SC CH SE B BB:B46 BBA+B w! WR BB46 BBA+B
154 - SC CH 1B w! BB:B46 BBA+B w! WR BB46 BBA+B
118 - SC 8AB w! Prep 6KK w! BB:B46 BBA+B

These numbers with similar combos, but two wallsplats are quite teliing. It also seems no variant of the combos allow a 66B extension. I'll see if non-BBA+B stuff can work better.

I'll post more as I think of more. If someone is struggling with execution, I can try their ideas for them. I think the trick to the BB:B46 though is to simply time it in 5 beats. This also gets the JF more consistently.

Now Sleep Forever
If you have SC, any launcher you would normally 6A+B 214:B off of, you can instead 44K 2A+BB for higher damage. The 44K takes some timing to consistently put them grounded in front of you, but it seems to work fine after some practice.

6A+B doesnt work after every launcher. You will have a hard time landing in after 22_88 BB for example or regular 3B. 6A+B works after 3B on CH, but you have to move forward slightly. Pretty much the same thing goes for 44K, the opp has to be higher in the air

Yeah it's why I mentioned you can do this after any launcher you would normally 6A+B after. Not any launcher period. :P

What does AR, SE notation stand for?
AR (or AG) = Arriere's Gambit. It can be entered from a few moves by pressing 4 afterwards. Or 4 during Preparation. This is the stance where Raphael takes a hop backwards with a GI.
SE = Shadow's Embrace. This is the stance that can only be entered from Preparation (by pressing 2 or if the opponent uses a high attack) where Raphael does a sick-nasty matrix dodge
