In all honesty, I'm actually quite surprised that the Critical Edges aren't just Critical Finishes.

Plus the CF animations are too long.yeah but some critical finishes.. you shouldn't come back from, like zas's black hole and the implied beheading of yoshis (both of which i realize are not confirmed)
Vampires and werewolves are much, much older than Twilight. I would say Van Helsing is a more apt comparison.I can't believe Twilight managed to infiltrate Soul Calibur... But I hope it won't be a romance thing for Raphael and Viola/Amy though. Of course, I'll be supporting Raphael and I hope he is reunited with his daughter. Father power! Yeah!
An interesting point in their story would be how Amy got separated from Raphael and lost her memory. Was it some kind of secret dark cult? Some really mad magician? XD And in an interview, it said that Raphael apparently died in SC4(http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-10-20-raphael-confirmed-for-soulcalibur-5)All the Viola has amnesia and Raphael is looking for Amy thing is too much obvious, I hope they add some interesting/unexpected element to the cocktail to make their plot a little more interesting.
But I know fighting games aren't know for their plot twist so I don't have many spectations on that front, probably it will be exactly what it seems.
So, he's a vampire in SC4. Now he's hunting them? WTF, Namco!?On topic, I am loving Raph's vampire hunter look

Just want to clarify that I never said he was a vampire, merely that he looked like one.Stop making ridiculous assumptions! he is not a vampire hunter and he has never been a vampire, is just the looks, if is not on the bio then is not true period.
On topic, I am loving Raph's vampire hunter look
...He, according to the story, was weakened greatly during the day, and he turned several people(villages), he has TWO vampire attacks, and he lives in one of Vlad the Impaler's(Dracula) castles.
You can deny it till you're blue, Raph was a vampire.
Please, calm down. It's true that his bio may have never stated that Raphael was a vampire but there were many suggestive evidence pointing to it. His CF in SC4, one of his grabs where he bites ppl, he feels weak during the day, he's nicknamed "The Lord of The Night", Yoshitmitsu said, "What are thou? A spectre?" in his story in SC4, Kilik said the same thing and even Siegfried said that Raphael was no longer human in SC3. I feel silly pointing to his bat accessory as another piece of evidence but... well, that's just my explanation. It's not my place to really say anything but you should try to tone down the tone you're putting in your words. It's just not very nice...Stop the BS thats not even official you noob, nowhere in his bio you will find the word vampire or vlad, you are such a #%"#%" hate noobs like you...

*Sigh*Agree with all this, but the point is that even if is obvious that he was meant to be the vampire it was never officially stated that way, namco cleverly never called him vampire in that way they can change him all the way they want and still it won't really be stupid or ridiculous, like they all of a sudden make Mitsu a ninja, now that'll be stupid cause he has been called Samurai all the time.
Point is that people is making stupid assumptions that Raph is now a vampire hunter cause he wears a hat like V D...Jesus -.-
Thanks for taking my comment so well. ^^ I don't agree with how people say he's a vampire hunter just because of the outfit he's wearing either but in some way, I think he's no longer so arrogant and cold anymore since he's lost Amy and that might have made him chose less noble like clothing. Or he's finally decided that he needed more efficient clothes for travelling.Agree with all this, but the point is that even if is obvious that he was meant to be the vampire it was never officially stated that way, namco cleverly never called him vampire in that way they can change him all the way they want and still it won't really be stupid or ridiculous, like they all of a sudden make Mitsu a ninja, now that'll be stupid cause he has been called Samurai all the time.

Hear, hear.So if I'm weak at day, Feed off Human Blood, And Live in dark creepy castles? I'm not a vampire? Right Sorry you must watch Twilight.
Doesn't matter he's a vampire just like RWB states. Besides why are you getting so angry if he's a vampire or not? That shouldn't matter. You SHOULD be talking about his moves and possible buffs/nerfs instead of trying to flame people on their personal viewpoints on Raphael.
