By the way, I would like to see the child of Hwang and Seong Mi-na be announced sometime in the future.:D

Ooh can you provide a link to that tweet? :D I had been wondering if she'd be playable, but I don't wanna start assuming things…
I'd like to know about Hwang and Seong Mi-na's child too

the latter is concept art is from SC1. And Daishi twittered the pic with Sieg and other Schwarzwind member sometime this year. But I think Salia really sticks out in that one.

EDIT: woops, I'm too slow.
 
Judging by the concept art (even if it is from SC1), if she's playable, I hope she'll be using a European, single-handed sword… that seems to be the one thing the SC series is missing imo.
 
I want
-a russian with a heavy accent that has a run with fur clothing.
-a german with a jokingly personailty similar to dampiere.
-an Indian with a bow and arrow (if possible)
-a japanese woman with throwing stars.
 
What i would really love is a female German character with a mysterious,strange and regal appearance,22-27 years old,calm forgiving personality,height:175 cm (5'9"),Weight:58 kg (128 lbs),Linguistics,With an extreme love for her people & an extremely accute 6th sense, maybe native to her race...
 
^ sounds a lot like Hilde, but not quite the same.
Actually wait no only the detail about being regal makes me think of Hilde.

As much as I'd like a big shield, too. It would probably not fit well in grappling moves.

I was impressed by the OP. A lot of ideas I had were covered by the first post.

I had thought of adding a buckler to either Raphael or Amy, to further differentiate their style.

I thought of adding a dagger to a sword, but not a rapier kind of sword. More to a great sword (although not enormous like Siegfried), a realistic great sword. I thought of something like Jamie Lanister's style (from Game of Thrones, specially chapter 5).

I thought of shield and spear, too. Not as a Zulu warrior, but to a traveler who learned and mixed Far Eastern with European spear wielding techniques. But now I think Zulu is a better idea.

Maybe Bangoo could be the one with the flail. He could also be an Ulfsark (guy who wears wolf skin).

My ideas that seem new to the thread are:

* Someone using San Chi Kuan, the staff with three sections. I guess it would be hard to animate, but not so much different from animating Maxi. Could be male or female, as long as having using this weapon.

* A guy using double Chinese broad curved swords (like Yun-Seong's, but two of'em). It should be different enough from Cervantes. The guy should have more kung-fuish kicks and more sword spinning moves (analog to Kilik's and Seong Mi-na's 4A+B), i comparison to Cervantes. And of course... no gun blade or Phantom Pirate Street Fighter moves (not that I dislike Cervantes).

* Double Nunchaku, just like that vintage Maxi presentation in SC1. It should be any animator's nightmare lol
 
Im just curious as to why all the younger teenaged characters are female.

Talim Amy and now Xianghuas daughter, and yet the youngest male we have is YS who is around twenty.
