SCV Tier List

I don't know... personally I have never noticed this and never had any problems with punishing this move. It's just really fast and you have to react quickly.

The only time I saw A.I cheating was in SC:BD (PSP version) where Hilde was using level 3 charges twice in a row (it's impossible)
I have little time for poor punishers - vs. AI Cervantes I'm now consistently punishing 3B with umbrella combo, that's tricky.

To all Alpha Pat haters:
If he's so tough, main him.

We all know the only reason you people don't is because you suck at execution and are jealous of us being rewarded for having greater technical abilities.
GG's.

=P
Whenever I try the 2143BbA+B+K I fail and miss the Brave Edge. When are you supposed to press A+B+K?

If only this "bigger reward for execution-heavy moves" logic applied to SCV iCS. This is possibly the most difficult move in the entire SC series and what do you get for pulling it off? 9 dmg buff xD

@ring
Or maybe the JF version is safer?

Your right, I just checked it in training mode. Since I can't pull off the JF version, I still don't know about that.
JF version is also -22. It's easy to do, if you play on pad it's just a quick slide with your thumb.

@Synraii

I don't choose characters because they're high tier, I choose characters because I like the style, they're fun to use, or they just "jive" with me somehow.

I actually thought about picking up A Pat, messed around with him in training, and came to the conclusion that he's boring as shit. Powerhouse or not, I don't care.

Maybe you play solely for the purpose of winning, I can respect that. Don't get me wrong, I want to win just like every one else, but I care less about winning than I do about having fun. I refuse to play characters that I consider boring.

Then the AI is a cheating bastard. The reason I thought this move was safe was because nothing I tried worked (at least in legendary souls).

About "doing it too slow". that wasn't the case, because as soon as I went to training mode, I was able to punish that shit all day long. My button reaction time didn't just go up all of a sudden in one instant :)

If you have the time/desire, try punishing that in legendary souls, and tell me if it's any different for you.

If you're willing to make winning a match more difficult for yourself then you deserve every loss you get to a better character and have no right whatsoever to complain about them being stronger than your ass main.

That is fact, not opinion so please don't take it personally - that's just how it is. =/

I think this means that everyone of us is an idiot at some point ;) You were an idiot during SC4 period, now it's my turn for the next 3 years or so... again, after SC3 ;)

edit: you edited it! cheater :p

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't video games invented for ONE purpose? FUN!

"fact" is not calling someone an idiot, that is your opinion.

I'm not a low-tier hero. If I lose it's my own damn fault. If my garbage tier main is gonna stand toe to toe with top tiers, then all that means is that I have to be better than my opponent, and in some cases MUCH better.

Your the exact opposite as me. I'm not willing to stop using the character I love JUST because I want better win chances. If I wanna win more, I have to play better, plain and simple. You might as well call Omega an idiot for sticking with Zas in sc4, or call InsaneKent an idiot because he uses Seong-Mina, or call Keev an idiot because he uses NM.

You get my point? People, on ALL levels of gameplay from highest to scrubbiest scrub, play the character they like, regardless of "tiers". Choosing a character that isn't top tier does not make you an idiot.

And besides, would you honestly want tournaments to be played solely by top/high tiers? That would basically mean you would only see 4 or 5 characters being used at most. I for one am very grateful that high level players have a diversity in their choices, if for no other reason than to make it more fun to watch.

Why the hell would twister ever get blocked under normal circumstances? the damn thing is i12 making it able to punish the hell out of nearly everything. I'm not going to say if Patsuka is OP or not, but I will say that denying this is one of -if not- the best moves in the game is dumb as brushing your teeth with cow manure.
