See I blame the devs here, how do you not step in and be like "ok and here, this button down here is the guard button. It helps you to defend against oncoming attacks." They've got to understand that this game has an undeserved reputation as being overly masher friendly because of videos like that, because players like that IN THE MEDIA are playing in that manner. That does nothing to help advance the public perception of their game.
 
God, this is painful to watch.

I always thought that SC was an easy game to grasp the basics, but this bunch of button mashers make me think otherwise.
 
I loled watching Mitsu VS Astaroth. The guy using Mitsu seemed to accidentally spam the block button on two occasions. Still, interesting to note that the damage output seems to be greater than SC 4's.
 
Watching a lot of those videos is somewhat painful, I think we're getting past the 'OMG SCV YAY' now. I just want to see a set or two of people who know what they're doing :/

You'll have to wait until this weekend at the soonest (general public gets in) or next week at the latest (France gets their hands-on).

I have to agree with you. I'm really starting to get annoying by all the gameplay videos uploaded so far.

Ah, I see, thanks for that info. As mentioned before in the thread, these matches don't really give people a great image of what the game is all about. iirc the last proper play I saw was the EVO sets...wow lol
