Solve the mystery

Wouldn't it be awesome if there was no answer? :3

The explosion has nothing to do with seagulls.

Yes.
Right, I meant the grudge has to do with seagulls.

Okay, here's my take on the answer.

The young man, his mother, and the old man were out at sea on a boat. For some reason that I don't know, the young man accidentally caused the boat to explode. The explosion blinded the old man, and killed the mother. They all got onto the life-raft. (Not sure why they took the dead mother's body, but whatever). They were lost at sea for a long time. The only thing around were seagulls, which the old man could hear but not see, obviously. They started to starve because they couldn't catch any fish for some reason and also couldn't catch any of the seagulls. The young man got desperate and decided they should eat his mother's corpse. The old man refused to do this. So the young man cuts it up anyway and eats some and gives some to the father, lying and telling him he caught a seagull and this is the meat. Then they're finally rescued/sight land/whatever. (For some reason, the rescuers don't mention that "hey, this dead lady has chunks cut out of her!" Not within earshot of the old man, anyway.)

Later, the old man somehow finds out that what he ate was not seagull, I guess from coming to this one restaurant that actually serves it, and puts 2 and 2 together and realizes what he did eat. He then brings the son to that restaurant to prove to him that he knows what he did, just before he shoots him in vengeance for making him unknowingly cannibalize the mother.

The end.

This.... ?

Dont know if this has been asked yet but.

Was the seagull part of the cause for the explosion?

Was the seagull part of the cause after the explosion?

Did the son plan to murder anyone?

Did the oldman shoot his son by accident since he was blind?

Does the son have anything personal to do with seagulls like a personal hobby or bird watching.

Did the son save his dad by sacrificing his mother?

Did the son lie when he said that he didn't know what the food/thing was?

Does any of the questions i have said before got to do with the old man's revenge?

Yes, these have been answered.
No
Not sure what that means.

Basically what happened was, the son, father and mother were out on their boat. The boat stalled so the son went down to check on the engine, his mother told him not to smoke since he enjoyed smoking. Kid does anyway, it falls on a rag with oil sets the boat on fire. The engine is destroyed, his mother is killed and his father losses his eye sight while trying to put the fire out. They are stuck out on there boat for a while and begin to get hungry, seeing as the father is blind and they need to eat, the son cuts up the mother and feeds the mom to his father to keep him alive. The dad ask's what the son is feeding him, son replies the he is eating seagull. The father is wary of this but has to eat. After a few more days they drift close enough to see land and they decide to swim for it, the son drops his mother into the ocean and they make it to shore.

Later the father still suspicious of what was fed to him takes his son to the restaurant I mentioned in the thread. It is the only restaurant that serves seagull and ask's the waiter to give it to the son and tap him on the should when he leaves. When the son doesn't know what it is that he was given the dad realizes that he ate his wife. He shoots his son for making him eat his wife.

My guess is that:
