Soul Calibur 5 Guest/Bonus/CAS Character Discussion

I'm sure most people are aware of the offline character creation mod for SC4.. As upsetting as some people can make the characters modded, I've seen some very unique and interesting costume designs with that. It'd be nice if they let you overlap/cut up, in a sense, the clothes to make them merge with others, though that would require a lot of work, in the character creation.
 
I also hate how there is locked colors in stuff that cannot be changed. Talims 2P, for example. The paws in that make coloring awkward.
 
Namco Bandai is only the Western EU publisher (They apparently have a large stake in the NA one though, and that may differ for console publisher) and SC5 is a 2012 release, console TW2 is 2011, so it doesn't hype anything.

Also, I don't think the constantly layed main character of a very dark series is a very good fit... Guest characters need to fit into the game. Link worked very well, Heihachi was valid, Kratos only has issues with the t rating, but the Star Wars characters are just odd (I couldn't tell you how Spawn works). Also: Unless there is an option to force Polish voices for him (and only him), he'd be a pain to listen too.

Plus neither game was or ever will be released in Japan. Only Spawn (Who was on a console that undersold the Dreamcast in Japan IIRC) was a guest without any appearances in the game's home country.

I honestly hate the generic prints they give you for tatoos (Which are linked to underwear for whatever stupid reason) The tatoo machanic needs to be like SD vs RAW's where:
1. They can go on either gender.
2. They can be placed anywhere above or on clothing / Skin
3. They can be resized and toggled anywhere on the area.
4. They are deleted in layers/not connected to ther clothing/WWE allows nearly covering the body in artwork.
5. Face paint (Not tied to tatoos)
6. Scars are seperate from art/Massive variety of them/Can be shaped in anyway and multiples can be added.
7. Eye make up is seperate from Face paint.

More random cameo parts (Ala Kosmos via Type X, just allow them to be colored properly though...) even if just from Namco Bandai owned franchises would be neat.

Because being a furry and being a burly man who wears a fuckin rhino as armor are on different levels of bad ass...One being badass...the other being ass and bad.

Now if we're talking about wearing live animals as armor...now you're talking...so long as it's not "sheep drunk with a sober farmer" kinda "wearing"
 
I think that Namco potentially wanted to keep Character Creation simple so that it wouldn't take away from other stuff in the game. A detailed CC (might) hamper the experience of some gamers, but that is simply a groundless opinion. I think they looked at more an addition than an actual feature, if that makes any sense.
 
Regardless of original intention it has become a large part of the game for many casual players, I don't think it would be bad if they used up some space on a more in depth character customization process.

BEWARE!! GIRLY GIRL ALERT!!

OMG MAKEUP! ME WANT!!! The only hint of makeup they had in any SC CaS was Blush (SC3) or demented swirly cheeks, which only looked good on Mrs Clause... or a creepy clown.

I also want alot more FASHIONABLE options for my characters... I always have to resort to using the Parlor Blouse with one of the two (identical) short skirts... I didn't mind the goth skirt, but it was really heavy looking so I rarely used that one. I also resorted to using the Butterfly dress alot, and rarely the Princess Dress... When I'm making my characters, I'm mostly thinking "fashion" rather then "Xina Warrior Princess, who can rip your head off if you piss her off, I mean look at her, she looks vicious!!"

I want jeans...not SLACKS... I don't know anybody that wears slacks (anymore) ... and more then one type of jeans, such as: a pair of straight leg fit, skinnies, or boot cut.
I also want to see more skirts, frilly, lacey, long, short, a slit up the side, tight, poof etc

And more shoes...I love shoes... I find myself using either Xianghua's shoes, Feminine shoes, or the Princess boots alot.
I would like more high heels, I'm sure some devoted female warriors could wear heels and still kick ass : ) (and possibly break an ankle from time to time)

For tops, I'm hoping for things some things a little more simple: a simple cami (that ISN'T made of animal skin) a corset, and if they make long shirts, they SHOULDN'T TUCK THEM INTO THE PANTS.
...I honestly dislike when people tuck their shirt into their pants...

Hair: More ponytails, and maybe something with the frontal bangs pinned back (and possibly curly) Alot of the cute hairstyles were ruined by size or length... Like Amy's hair curls...they looked cute on amy, but paired with a CaS...they looked massive.
I also prefer if they made more hairstyles with the hair parted from the side, rather then straight down the middle.

The outfits I love the most worn by characters:
Amy (Both SC 3 and 4)
Sophitia (SC3 both P1 and P2 / SC4 P1)
Casandra (SC3 Both P1 and P2 / SC4 P1)
Setsuka (...mostly loved her hair for SC3 P2 / SC4 P1)
Mina (both I guess SC3 / SC4 P1)
Valeria from SC3 (I often refer to her as the "Boob Lady"...I call Ivy and Taki that as well)

As for guys, I want more short haircuts, and maybe a tank top.

Ooo, lastly, voices... Accents. <- - - End of story
 
I want better haircuts for the females.

I always use the long haircut, the one that comes with sophitia, but I wish they had bangs, like pyrrahs. Also I want the CaS characters to be in HD too, or at least let items, like Cassandras skirt, to fall the same way on them as they do on her, even the CaS cassandra doesn't wear the skirt the same way.

That and the option for highlights, and perhaps more face options.

Also for haircuts, I would like a low ponytail too, like the ones in tekken 6. And one of those long haircuts but have ponytails too like this
