if i remember correctly there was something like that in SC2 too. Spawn on xbox i think, Hehachi on PS2, and link on ......Gamecube i think.

in SC3 they had the character creation with different styles of play.(someone please correct me on this i cant remember)
so they probably had economic issues or just used the money to boost the diversity and story.

so there is a possibility of having a different guest character on each system and the possibility of having the same guest chars on each system. It just varies with money and what the developers want and i am sure that with all the requests we are giving them there will be some stuff that will not be included. so its iffy
 
As awesome as Lightning is, she'd be a sucky choice for a guest character. Only logical choice is Ezio from AC. They should capitalize on how popular the series is if they're smart enough. They can give him Raphael's movelist with changes ofc.
 
No it's all about the Power Rangers! Green Ranger would dance one everyone's ass!

Lightning is an awesome character...but a lot of people hate FF13 so i dunno.

If he will somehow replace Raphael, I'll choose him since there is a posibility that Raphael may not be in SCV.

1- I know i will be bashed for this but.. Jack Sparrow will be EPIC XD
The creepy run animation+ fun dirty style+a lil more serious "fighter" style,like in the 4th movie= win XD

2- first reaction: COOL. Second reaction: maybe too much "invasive"famous,do no want se 99% of people online use them

I think Cap would be a good choice. Thor? Not so much...
Seriously though... forget sword&shield combo. JUST a shield. Captain America's a Spartan.
But I don't see the Japanese giving a tanuki's ballsack about Steve Rogers.
 
Some good ideas!

I can see Ezio Auditore working, although I wouldn’t particularly be excited about it. He is from a popular series, his visual design matches that of the SC universe, weapon styles are all feasible, and he wouldn’t seem totally out of place. The time gap (almost a century) would annoy me for no particularly reason; I mean, SC is nowhere near historical in any way, why should its nominal setting matter? More to the point, I think Ezio is kind of boring.

Gabriel Belmont is cool! Sometimes I feel I was the only person who really liked Lords of Shadow. He already has a number of very distinctive attacks and specials from his game which could be adapted (not wholesale copied, of course) for SC. And of course his weapon style is a little more interesting. I’d personally enjoy this a lot more than Ezio’s inclusion, but I personally doubt it will happen. For one thing, they’d have to tone down the magical aspects of his style. For another, the game was nowhere near as popular as some of the others being discussed. Finally, he is far more displaced (temporally speaking) than someone like Ezio.

Finally, Lightning from FFXIII / FFXIII-2. I actually didn’t play FFXIII so I’m not really qualified to comment on this one. However, I did see Lightning in her FFXIII-2 armor, and I have to say she at least looks like she would be an awesome SC character. Girl guest character would be a first for the series, no? I’m all for it.

Bayonetta? No thank you. Beat the game, found it mildly entertaining, but the character makes absolutely no sense for the SC series.

So, whom would I like to see in SCV as a guest character? Hm, tough one... I’ll get back to you on that.
 
you know they confirmed it will most likely be final fantasy characters and as long its not depressing emo blonde or overpowered silver hair mamas boy from 7 i will be fine.

Also i know it might be hard but i would love to see a character from dragon age origins or dragon age 2 in sc V.

Really i have no problems with any character but they need to be 4 things fun to play as fun to have in the game and not over powered beyond all reason and most important make sense nobody that doesnt use a weapon for instance i hate how pepole suggest cole macgrath from infamous look pepole i know u love ur fav chars but they need to make sense or true gamers will get the game and go wtf they pulled another fing star wars on us.

No Bleach. Please. Bleach is like DragonBall - one million episodes, and we ultimately have to listen to dialogue during the fights in which the characters explain exactly how and why they are so much stronger than last episode (even though the fights all look more or less identical). Keep that BS away.

You want to see anime that knows how to do melee combat right, watch Sword of the Stranger or the Kenshin OVA series (not the TV series).
 
idle mind not to be mean at all too you but they have already confirmed the guest characters will be from final fantasy now the debate is who would u support my no cloud or sephiroth petition plz.
