Soul Calibur 5 Guest/Bonus/CAS Character Discussion

Id rather have necrid, revenant, edge master, ashlotte, kamikirimusi, and the shop keepers come back over having new guest characters
 
As a Fist of the North Star fan, I'd rather not have Kenshiro in either SC or Tekken, since they're not gonna be able to stay faithful to the source material. However, a Namco-Bandai developed 3D FotNS fighting game (emphasis on "Namco-Bandai developed", not Spike, like they did with DBZ) would be amazing.

Ash from Evil Dead would be badass.

This guy needs to come back. I love his design, his moveset was pretty cool, he fits the game....i would play him :)
 
option to change lipstick, as well as loads and loads of clothing items. But the main thing they should change is the ability to turn the character's voice off.

Lol, the only reason I'd ever want Necrid in it is to kill him over and over. The rest are fine, though.

Also, I wasn't serious about Kenshiro. I don't think he would fit in. But if I had to judge SOLELY on appearance, I don't think Raoh would look too out-of-place...

In all seriousness, I guess I COULD agree on Bayonetta...I can definitely see it, seeing as they were gonna have Dante in III...but again, Guts. Especially with that new Berserk OVA coming out...
 
I read news somewhere saying that Sigfried is categorized as one of the guest of SC V :O
so pretty much I wont be seeing Setsuka in Sc V =(

Considering that he's one of the first reveals, and that SCV is atleast partialy based off his SCIV ending, I doubt that's true. He's in that sketch (with Schwarz Wind) too, obviously Odashima wants us to focus on him.

edit: Also, I could seriously imagine how Ash from Evil Dead would play in an SC game. It'd be glorious *__*
 
Best character customization was Aion's imo. You can edit your characters face on more than 10 variables. Tons of hair and ready to use 25 template faces. Also you can make dwarfs to titans but in SC it would be unfair just like "IvyFanboy" said.

I think they just got lazy to make every cosumes shredded from in SC4. I hope they'll fix that on SC5.

One more think, what happened to layers of costumes ? You know what I mean, SC3 was great about it.
 
While I see why they bring in guest characters, I honestly don't care much for them. However, I recently went on google and found this:

...and that really put a smile on my face being a huge fan of the AC series. Ezio would make a great guest character in the series imo, and I believe he actually fits in the timeline of sc. (Alhough he'd be very old, which isn't a problem seeing as he actually is quite old in the upcoming installment of series.)
 
I'll be honest, I'm actually expecting an AC character to be in. Not a massive fan of the series (the concept is cool, but gameplay-wise...just not for me I guess) but it could be cool. That photoshopped pic is indeed very slick (too much focus on AC and not enough on SC imo, but it's still nice)

I don't know much about the series lore, but is it possible to have not Ezio, but a different Assassin, from the late 16th century where SC is set? I'm aware there was that comic based around a Russian Assassin during the end of Tsarist Russia, so I know they're not completely opposed to such an idea, right?

Although to do that, they'd have to focus on his story and such, and devote even more time to the guest character D:

It's going to be Ezio and the Prince, since they are somewhat popular, and relevant.
 
I'm thinking Lightning from the new Final Fantasy XIII-2 because the fighting style fits and the game will be coming out late 2012 early 2013. Guest Characters are pretty much just add campaigns for new games coming out and what's better than cashing in on one of the most popular game series to date?
