Soul Calibur 5 Guest/Bonus/CAS Character Discussion

...Exactly, Final Fantasy XIII (or any of its labelmates from Type-0 or Versus, if they're actually getting released).

Though, it'd be quite nice to see them pull from their own franchises, like Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia for Soul Calibur Legends.
 
New idea; Leon: The Professional. After his death, the Spirit Sword reached out to him and called him to fight in the past, on it's bearer's behalf.

Was thinking about doing some basic illustration, but that's far too much effort so I'll just try and explain:

3 Stances;

1st Stance: Katana stance, kind of like Ivy's coiled stance, this is inbetween, but a more basic stance, he starts the match this way. No/little emphasis on guns. Can switch to two katanas.

2nd Stance: This is a close range stance, he may draw guns but they do not track well and are unsafe if avoided. His own step speed and general safety is improved however when not firing.

3rd Stance: Rifle stance, this is maximum range, and though it tracks well and can be used as a combo finisher, but the rifle is bolt action and requires significant cool-down time between rounds.

Ok, actually...now that I think about it...If they were going to include Guest characters to cross promote a big game coming out next year, I think it would be awesome if they included "War" and "Death" from the Darksiders Games. Maybe that angel chick from the first game too. Uriel? was that her name?

And before anyone says: "Oh, we already have 2 guys with big swords, War is too many of those." Don't forget, he had Gauntlets that you could use as well.

And yes, Zas has a scythe, but Death's weapon in Darksiders 2 is a scythe with blades on both ends that he will also be able to split into two pieces.

I think that would be a pretty rad style. Both of them actually, if they used Gauntlets for War, it would be a nearly weaponless style.

Allmymoney.jpg I didn't play AC, so I really don't care if its him the choosen one but...the lesser evil. At least him would fit in the game that's enough for me.

Haha, yeah Ezio or Altair would fit into the timeline of the game. I dunno, I was still hoping for War or Death from "Darksiders". :-D
 
I think I mentioned this somewhere before, but I'm putting my money on it being the new Dante from Devil May Cry.

Reason being is I'm sure Dante has been one of the most requested guest characters by fanboys for years now, he belongs to Capcom (who is working close with Namco now with SFxT/TxSF), and of course with him included it will cross promote the new DMC game that is coming out, similar to how including The Apprentice was cross promoting The Force Unleashed.

 
If they put that fucking failure emo kid in my SC I personally will kill someone. I don't know who, but someone should pay with his life.

Classic Dante would be bad enough (because he just don't fit in the storyline) but emo dante...would be heretic.

PD: I still belive all this emo dante shit is a marketing strategy and in the game we will see the classic Dante, I'm right, right? right?

Im glad he at least has his white hair in demon form and his jacket turns red. Really reminds me of Dragonball Z.
 
The new Dante imho is fucking horrible

If DMC must be give me the classic Dante
or, even more fitting, Sparda(tough waaaay less popular)

Btw if Capcom promoting must be at this point give us Asura from Asura's Wrath,and make him fight bare hands :D
