Well, the actual timeperiod of that movie is uncertain to me. At first I think Sengoku Era. However, I can not be certain. Then again, that whole tribe makes me think of different time periods all of which far before 1400 let alone 1600.

But it is not weather or not she would fit, it is weather or not she is popular. The only reason they have guest characters is to sell the game. Enter Ezio.

We have a time period:

Q: When does the story take place?
It takes place in the Muromachi Era (1392-1573, or 1333-1467, depending on the scholar), around the time of the War of Onin (1467-1477). Miyazaki chose this era since the relationship between the Japanese and nature changed greatly around that time. During the Muromachi Era, iron production jumped, which required great numbers of trees to be cut down (for charcoal), and people came to feel that they could control nature. Also, it was the time before Japan as we know it was formed. It was a confusing, yet lively era. Women had more freedom, and a lot of new arts were born. The rigid class structure of Samurai, farmers, and artisans was yet to be established. Miyazaki sees similarities between the Muromachi era and the current era, which is going through various changes and confusion.

Which means the emperor mentioned in the movie is Go-Tsuchimikado.

Ah, that explains it, I am not very knowladgeable in the muromachi era. Sengoku and Bakumatsu is where I have spent most of my research in and have been looking a little into muromachi. I should look more into the begining of the sengoku time span.

Have you seen the Character Creation trailer?

It's a feature they added in Broken Destiny. There are special items that you can place pretty much anywhere on the character, you can also rotate them and alter their positions, and even grow/squash their dimensions to an extent.
They even added unisex equipment like in SC:BD. Man, that fact is starting to gave me chills about what we're likely to see online...

Last row, second item from the left. I sense a feeling I'll be seeing a lot of penises or flat out transexuals online.

Saw that too. It looks kind of fuzzy though, could be the raccoon tail they had in Broken Destiny. Then again, this is online we're talking about, so that hardly matters.

I'm glad they aren't cramping any creative possibilities due to perverted prospects though.
