Soul Calibur 5 - New Character Creation Mode Gameplay!

After watching the very first video on Character creation in SCV with Daishi guest starring, I was very very excited for the game and I still am. I just wish they let you modify the face so that you could make your characters differentiate more in terms of look. But oh well, 23 faces is plenty to use for now and the eyebrow option is a good start. I bet that in the next Soul Calibur, they might incorporate deep face editing.

I also love how they brought back layering clothing like in SCIII as opposed to SCIV. And the sticker/pattern thing is brilliant. And last but not least, I like how you are able to change the color of your weapon and weapon effect color. Just two and a half more months till the game comes up, I'm so excited. xD

If you can tattoo the skin, Im good.

I think you can, from what I saw in the videos, I don't see why not. As for custom stickers, I think you could get an affect you like through layering stickers. I don't think it's out of the question for them to include "base" stickers to be used for such a thing.

I think there's a limit of 8 stickers per character, unfortunately.

as for custom stickers, I see one reason why it may happen, and one reason why it won't.

Why it could:
Tekken Wii U will have it, so Namco is hardly adverse to it.

Why not:
Sony (of America at least) recently bullied NIS into heavily gimping Disgaea 4's stage editor (yes, the LBP makers worried about what will be shown online, a fine display of even standards...).

Where'd you find that? Even so, 8 is more than enough stickers deal with lol.

Just something I noticed from picking through the videos:

The wax seal symbol seems to indicate how many stickers you've put on. I'm not sure what determines where the wax seal goes though, so take my word with a grain of salt.

:sc4ivy1: I only made this user to say something to get off of my chest.
I think there should be a little village that online users can walk around (Yeah, free roam-ish), and they can bring up someone's profile and match them?

If you don't have enough $ to purchase equipment you could walk around and do good deeds and fight people wreaking havoc (no PvP, just CPUs on this note).

That's a pretty cool idea! I like the idea of free roaming and meeting players in the village.

I'm glad somebody agrees with the free roaming idea too.
I've sorta did a quick layout of the "Quests" and "wreaking havoc" bit of my post.

The quest starters are anywhere inside the map radius and have unlimited quests for you that earn you XP (leveling up) and money (to purchase weapons, etc..).

Trouble starters, or "wreaking havoc" as I've stated, are placed in common places (around shops..), and XP can be earned?

With your future detailing, I'm even more in favor of this mode. I think it'll help give replay value. :)

Nah it's no problem. I think it would be a fun and innovative mode for Soul Calibur. It gives you more to do and such you know?

Yeah, plus it would be much easier for beginners, aswell as experts (whoever is out there!) less of a challenging time and not frustrated with really hard players (Like, the ones in SCIV). I think this would be a good, free way to get XP and money without the hassle. Well, of course there is money from Story and etc..

But for now, we wait! It is so soon. I can't wait and I only just heard of it last night!

The December episode of Qore is now free in the US PSN Store. It has that "graphics as lush as in FPS"-video, that has some CaS stuff. We've all seen the video before , but now you can watch it in HD.
