I've seen someone talking about Pat-Alter... Remember when Vergeben said that Kilik's rival and the other newcomer were connected (and somehow hinted they were male and female)? WHAT IF! They are considered newcomers because of new story and fighting styles but are actually Patty Cakes and Pyrrha going back to time and being "corrupted" by Astral Chaos and Pat Alter is mad at Kilik because he was the reason why Sophitia died and so he wants to kill him because he wants his beloved mom?

I think the theory is that the mystery man is Lucius, who is Sophitia's brother. But I guess I can see that.

Also, by the way, how many new characters do you think will be in?

Thanks you @Vergeben for all the extra info you did give us. Hopefully I did get some info that was coinciding with you so I could believe on some detail you said.

And I can understand that people had hard time believing...

But yeah Soul Calibur 6 is real. Now i'am wondering about all the thing that I heard and might be also true lol damn this happening... Will they really bring back Hwang?... I will die to win a tournament with him.

Shit, I know this whole shit was coming but even I was so spektical and cautious, now it's like I'am finally burning my soul without any doubt.

Lets the hype wagon begin now!

if characters are associated with "animal spirits," what animal would represent Sophitia?

I'm thinking something noble like eagle or lion?
 
You know, as it seems that every character has a special buffed-weapon mode and it's somehow connected with spiritual animals of the characters... William from Nioh confirmed?
 
So Many questions:

- How many characters are plane for the game at launch, if there are DLC characters, how many are those as well.
- How many Characters are done atm, in terms of fully 3D designed and moveset, we see Sophy and Mitsu, and the 3 new looks done.
- How many stages are ready in the game, we've seen One so far, the one in the trailer obviousely.
- Will CaS returns? (Won't mind it if it will not, but if it will, i mainly hope that Online will give me option to play only with Original characters.)
- Does the meter exists, seems to be the case, there could even be 2 meters, one for the guard stuff, and the other for the Soul Unleash/V-Trigger stuff.

That what i can think about atm, but there should be more, way more questions !!
 
I'm under the impression the weird guard thing is like a focus attack.
Whatever it is, I hope it doesn't cause the same issues JG did.

yeah! like a stance that makes you auto parry or something. in the video mitsu appears to be parrying sophie's low while standing(which has a sick animation I love it) instead of crouch guarding it, with his weapon glowing. Likewise, sophie's shield is glowing when parrying all those mitsu attacks.
 
*sigh*
It's quite certain we'll get DLC characters... I love this series so much I might buy them and not wait for the complete edition to be released... After all, Soul Blade was my first fighting game, I like it a lot >_<
