Im wont lie, I use to be a lazy player until most likely a year ago. I only really learnt about stepping properly when I started to play Tekken properly, whereas steps are kinda vital to really win against good players, in SCV steps are fucking joke, they can crack most OP moves, lets be honest IVYs best move is 3B 214B, simply by stepping when shes about to it, which is usually after a bait, she instantly becomes punishable.
 
I only time I will accept spamming as a viable excuse is when its a bad connection, and something like viola bb 6B+K after getting hit once, Mitsu,

In lag, anything is possible! And some stuff becomes impossible. I don't mind freeze lag too much, but that 1.5 second delay on your inputs type of lag is just hilarious, I feel like a CPU on Easy mode!

A friend of mine and I dealt with this same guy.
Can anyone tell me what's with the mass population of GC not wanting to fight? That is the whole point of the game, after all. I'd rater fight someone who spams than have someone say "I don't want to fight you."

They only want to play people who play fair. Which basically means they don't want to play anyone who can beat them. Which is around 95% of everyone else.

Playing soul calibur to play Soul Calibur??!! Naaah, we entered the GC to text the hell out of each other and read Fag Doll Annie drama posts. Then read about people's love romances, lmao! So what if some people only have 150 fights and over 510 hours playtime?! Important matter is being discussed like who just killed who in Naruto Shippuden!

i've only been to GC like twice, i just don't see the point of it at all lol. it just seems like player match without any voice chat, not that i ever talk with most people in player (unless they're friends).
 
The only time I really used GC (Which is often I'm saddened to say because I tend to play at night.) was to fight when I can't find a good room in Player Match or get a match on Ranked. Sometimes I get some real good people, but most of the time all I get is scrubs who I just have to use a small portion of my large move set to beat and mostly side stepping with the occasional failed JG attempt. Jeez, I suck at those online... and offline.
