Gamestop has been livebroadcasting their show and they did a LONG interview with the lead dev for BD... and I gotta say... THIS GAME LOOKS HAWT! We were all in flashchat and this is what players commented on while watching...
1 - step definatley looks better; its beefed up and because of this, you may see less tracking verticals.
2 - raphael looks beefed up.
3 - cassandra looks toned down. I noticed she was doing moves, raphael would block them; the cassandra would eat the first hit, then block the second hit of the punish... possibly meaning that the first hit was free.
4 - hilde looks towned down... charges look slower.
5 - interconnectivity with the PS3 has remained an uncertainty.
6 - game goes multiplayer with Ad-Hoc, no words exactly on online.
ALL characters will be unlocked from day 1, no need to unlock stuff. Which may go to show that they are actually putting more effort into the competetive style of play. The interesting thing about this game, the lead dev said that he is working on this PSP version because they wouldn't let him work on the PS3 version. Why? This guy sounded pretty kick ass.
