Story Mode, Additional SCV Images from Famitsu

Some people may have missed this, but along with today's announcement of the four newest characters to be added to the Soulcalibur V roster, Famitsu also released details and images from the game's story mode. Also included is the first images of Patroklos wielding Soul Calibur, Tira handing Pyrrha her mother's weapon, and images from various cutscenes.

If you can read Japanese or use Google Translate, you can go to Famitsu's website to read the details on Soulcalibur V's story mode.

As much as i'd love to believe that (and unless she goes through a major personality change) I can't see her wielding something that evil. It would be too interesting of a possibility to rule out though.

But as you can see Tira is manipulating her, so is just a matter of grabbing that sword, it could happen

 

Cool, but whats with ZWEI being with Patroklos in that CS? i thought they'd be rivals if anything.

 

I would also want to see some images of Viola travelling with Z.W.E.I. In my opinion that would be an engaging part of the story.

I mean, that's not to say they aren't dolling out information at a fast enough rate. Given that there's still more than a month until the game's release.

Did you ever see Siegfried in Soul Edge before he turned into Nightmare? Not an ounce of evil in that guy's body.

Good point, the sword does bad things to good people. Let's hope Pyrrah won't get controlled only to break free and prattle on about redemption like Sieg did.

I say Nightmare, but I know he isn't the end all be all in terms of antagonists.

I think it could be Sophitia. She may not be Nightmare's successor, but there's so much evidence that's been implying that she'll act as some kind of antagonist. That fact that Tira of all people is giving Phyrra her mothers sword adds to that list. Besides, how else could Phyrra be using a style similar to Sophie? She had to teach it to her.

 

Good speculation Reprobean, since the Sophitia speculation never seemed to dissipate (in one way or another) then perhaps in holds enough water to be a possibility in the story.
