T6BR tier list

Nina is MUCH more competitive this time around. I'm very satisfied with T6BR already :)

Yep, Ninas 1 1+2 in very helpful in prolonging your juggles. I love it.

db+1 sucks :(

True that.

(I main Miguel too.) But also SAV doesn't become much of a help unless you're hitting your opponent airborne.

well my main, Raven, is apparently ass-tier, but i'm gonna stick with him anyway. so take that. ninja loyalty.. FTL :( lol

I think I may put my tekken energy into Steve, Bob, and Yoshimitsu. Once I feel more confident I'll move back into my other characters.

Shame the bears haven't improved much. Oh well. =(

Aren't they basically the same but slightly better than in T5DR? no 8-frame jab, but they got a d/f+1,2 and.. hellsweep lol. so they got a standing punisher and a threatening low, and kept all the shenanigans (i.e. windmills) except 1,1,1.

i think i'll use bryan or heihachi as secondaries. i always liked bryan (he's such a nice guy) but i found his execution difficult on pad, specifically his taunt shenanigans. i'm gonna go for the arcade stick bundle so i'll hopefully be able to hit his taunt without accidentally grabbing half the time..

Gonna stick with my boy :sc1yos1: .
But, I'll try out Lili, Asuka, and Hwoarang.
Everyone else is interesting, but these four caught my attention.
:sc1yos1:Especially Asuka:sc1yos1:.

Thought I'd bump the thread with the updated list:

As of July 25, 2009:

A's
A+ = Steve, Law, Bryan
A = Bob, Bruce, Lili, Paul Julia, Nina
A- = Ganryu, Lee, Lars, Heihachi, King, A.King, Feng, Jack, Eddy, Kaz, D.Jin, Baek, Christie, Anna, Miguel, Hwo, Dragunov

B's
B+ = Lei, Leo, Ling, Marduk, Jin, Roger, Asuka, Wang, Alisa
B = Zafina, Yoshimitsu, Raven, Bears, Mokujin

Only possible change to this list that I think we'll see is Raven and/or Zaf being bumped up a level. I think, after that, we'll have the final list before everything changes again when it hits console.

wow only A and B tiers. I thought Mig and Dragunov were meant to be low or summing. Tekken 6br tiers move around so much 0_0

Tekken 6br tiers move around so much 0_0

It's going to move around again if you ask me (even if it's just a few chars). Arcadia just released their frame data issue for some of the chars. Once all the frames are out, you'll see the list adjust again.

I never thought I'd see Jin so low. Miguel and Roger are going up and down all the time.

I never thought I'd see Jin so low. Miguel and Roger are going up and down all the time.

Doesn't matter where Jin is tbh. He's only sitting there because he's all about the player now. No abusable stuff, but his arsenal isn't to be underestimated. 2,4 is still a 10f NC that KND's on normal. d+4 is a sweep with deceptive range. He has a very good CD/WD mix up game, etc.

(Although he is weaker without walls).

I don't think Roger and Miguel are moving anymore, unless Miguel's frame data shows that he's safer than originally thought.

Roger's still good, but db+3 got nerfed. It's not a reliable sweep anymore, so you can't abuse it. He's got good pokes, combo damage, and wall game.

Believe me, you can't underestimate anyone in the game. Ok, maybe Zafina... but you shouldn't underestimate a Yoshi or Raven. No way.

A good example of how small the gap between A- and B+ tiers are:

3rd video especially (Lei just owns).

Just a snippet: in the last Korean N Stargame premier league, the final match came down between a top Kuma and a top Steve.

Kuma won.

And he's lowest tier.

And Steve's top-most.
