Algol was a "da fuq?" type thing when I first saw him. But I guess I just got used to seeing him around. "Fuck, this guy has projectiles? Get you street fighter ass outta here." But now, SC would seem weird to me without him.

I dunno, Im kinda "switzerland" bout having algol in the game. He dont bother me none.

SC2 and SC3 I could literally play those games by myself for hours and hours on end. Honestly Sc2's weapon master mode is what kept me playing this game and motivated me to get some buddies over to play with me. Had a great time doing it. We would have Team battles matches and all sorts of fun. The different modes in those games were specifically designed to play the game from several aspects. Now we are limited to quick battles (i use those to warm up), legendary souls (honestly they couldve made it harder or much much longer to keep peoples interst), online play (prolly a big money maker for Namco that they would have to invest most of thier time on. But it has its limits to), and play barbie dress up with my characters.

I used to play video games because I wanted to not only beat the story (which had to keep me interested), but I wanted to unlock every single piece of shit I could. We didnt have internet in my day, all we had was a couple of neighborhood kids and a couple of 7-11/taco shops that had 1 or 2 games in it. We needed long drawn out stories to make us think our $$50 wasnt for nothing.

Give me my long drawn out story. Give me my weapons master. Cause annoying trolls on the interwebz is something I can only stand so much of. A short ass story with Pyhra saying "sorry" every 3 seconds, and some blonde haired cocky, pretty boy that is on some lame quest to find his sister. At least give us long cut scenes that tell the story, not some damn comic strip with lame voice overs.

NAMCO!! Give me my 1 palyer content, bring back some rebooted characters (mostly to shut up the whinners, but a bigger roster will be nice to see), and give me some options of different modes to play with my homies!!

Call it SCV 2.0, I dont care, I WILL buy it. Simply casue it says SC on it!! DOOO EEETTT!!
 
I agree with HRD. I would pay for another full game if it had as much story as the last few games. I played story mode in SCIV because I enjoyed seeing the endings for each character and learning about them. In this new game we have NO idea were viola came from and we only have basic ideas for Xiba and Natsu. I would have LOVED to see Natsu train with Taki and Xiba learn under EM/Maxi. If you didn't look up the story for them you would not know that aPat learned under Setsuka and that Kilik gave up Kali-Yuga because edge master said it was going to kill him. They just did not tell you these things in story. I only know this because of the little book that was given with the collectors edition.

I Personally would NOT like a reboot to the series at all. They are already doing that with my second favorite series DMC and just like DMC I do not think it will come out well.

Rebooting seems like sort of a good idea if it brought every single character from the series, excluding guest, but including bonus :D​
I'd go for that.​
 
If they ever decide to make a SCV 2.0, it better be cheaper, which is why I much prefer to just wait until the next installment.

THEY BETTER NOT MAKE A 2.0 I SPENT OVER 90+ ON THIS! I'd rather them make another game.. or if 2.0 make it free as a patch or update.

I would say DLC it for like $20. That's reasonable. That way costume DLC would not be wasted plus the collectors edition gear. They wont make a new game for $60 and sell it. It would have to be a dlc or free update,

Yeah, well here is a list of the obscene amount I have paid for this game so far:
SCV, two copies: £0.00 (Won one copy, a good friend bought me another)
Futurepress SCV guide: £0.00 (a gift from one of the writers at WGC Cannes)
Madcatz TE arcade stick and a couple of mods: £0.00 (Won it)
Brand new soundblaster headphones for play: £0.00 (Gift from TO's at i45)
Dampiere DLC: Paid in full (FUCKING EXPENSIVE)

Subtotal: 400? Microsoft points
I REFUSE TO PAY ANOTHER PENNY ON THIS!!!
 
Things they need to bring back:

Weapon Master's mode: This was so great. It was basically hours upon hours of fights and entertainment.

Team Battle: This is a must for any fighter. It is seriously the most fun thing to do in a FG. Especially if you play with friends who do not play fighters competitively, because then you can pick 8 random characters and mash against each other.

Arcade endings: This shit kept me on SCII for over a year. That and the bios. Give me back the bios.

Survival: Never really got into it but a lot of people loved it.

Actually just bring back everything from SCII. That was the best one of the series easily. And Necrid, BRING BACK NECRID!(Balance him first of course)

No! Don't bring back arcade endings, just make everyone have a story mode with CGI betweens. :D
